I genuinely don’t understand the logic behind letting someone create a character, giving them 10 credits then not allowing them to create the character because you didn’t give them enough credits. I’m done with the credit system, it is awful and there’s a reason most apps that use the credit system has so many bad reviews.
You can make certain features not free but at least allow general character creation to be free. There’s no reason to limit that when you have limited characters and hardly any customizable options.

Hi, thanks for the review. This app is built around a paid model. New accounts get 10 gems as a gift — they add on top of any gems you buy, they are not meant to unlock a character on their own. Creating one costs 100 gems and a photo costs 30, because those features cost real money to run. You also get 3 messages a day so you can see how chat feels. We’re going to rearrange the starting gems and limits so this makes more sense for everyone, and so the costs are obvious before you tap Create. If you want unlimited chat and enough gems to create someone, that’s what Premium is for — and Premium also gives you free gems every day. Appreciate you writing this. 🙏
