The tech is here

I remember looking for something like this a few years ago and I couldn’t find anything. This is good enough

Absolutely garbage

I wanted to like this app but it’s trash. It’s no way that the video I uploaded said and I quote “transfusion modem and the bible says the bibles says”. I’m deleting this app.

Doesn’t work properly

I couldn’t get an accurate reading from the subject after 3tries so I tried it on myself, and spoke slowly and it was way off then too. it’s a great idea but needs a lot more improvement before I could recommend.

Good work

I wish more languages were available though

Nice find

Glad such an app exists to lip read.

FAQ

What does the AI Lip Reading app do?

This app utilizes advanced AI algorithms to analyze video footage of lip movements and convert them into readable text transcripts. It aims to facilitate communication for individuals who are deaf or mute, in loud environments, or in healthcare settings where verbal communication is difficult.

How accurate is the lip reading?

The app boasts over 90% accuracy in good conditions, which is stated to be better than human lip reading. This accuracy is achieved through cutting-edge neural-network algorithms trained on extensive video data.

How do I use the app?

The workflow is simple: record or import a short video of lip movements, trim the relevant segment using the intuitive editor, and then tap 'Process' to receive a text transcript. The processed transcripts can be shared or saved.

Is the app free to use?

While the app itself can be downloaded, there are high maintenance costs associated with its advanced AI. Users need to purchase credits before they can process videos for lip reading.

Who can benefit from this app?

The app is beneficial for a wide range of users, including medical professionals in hospitals and clinics, first responders in emergency situations, deaf individuals seeking accurate transcripts, mute individuals who want to communicate through lip movements, and anyone needing to communicate in loud or noisy environments.
