About
Cooking doesn't live in one app. The plan is in a notes app, the list in a chat, the recipes in screenshots, the fridge in your head.
Alone or with family, DAIDOKO keeps it in one place, and AI does the linking. Say "plan 3 days" or "I bought milk" and DAIDOKO AI shows a card. Edit it if you like; nothing changes until you tap it.
■ Ask DAIDOKO AI
• Tap the round AI button: plan meals, update your list and pantry, find a recipe, log a dish, open a screen, report a bug
• Every change needs your tap on a card; "bought" and "used up" can be undone within 24 hours. It never deletes shared pages or groups, publishes, leaves a group or pays. A recipe is deleted only after your tap and can be restored for 30 days. Report any AI reply in-app
• 30 uses per device to start; an ad adds 3; your own Gemini key: no count
■ Plan meals
• Week view with main, side and soup slots for each meal
• Build a 2, 3, 5 or 7-day plan from your pantry, with a reason per day; swap any day
• Short on recipes? AI drafts missing days, sides, soups — pick which to save
• Optional auto-plan: updates when you open the app, alerts each morning, can auto-add missing items (undo, or turn off)
■ Your recipes
• Search by name, tag or ingredient; import from a URL or text
• Photograph a dish, cookbook page or package and AI drafts the recipe — you edit
• AI recipe images, labeled "This image was created by AI" (3 free a month)
• Cover and step photos; a cooking log; AI-drafted recipes carry a check-it note
• Cooking mode: large single steps, timers, no ads
■ Sharing and publishing
• Link (recipe or recipe book): opens without the app for 7 days after sending (same browser keeps access), not in search
• Publish your own recipe: anyone can view it, it's in search, no expiry; agree to the Terms first. URL imports can't be shared by link or published
• Stop any time; search results and saved copies may linger
• Report a public page from the page or import screen; we may take it down
■ Shopping and pantry
• Add what's missing to your list in one tap
• Move what you bought to the pantry — receipt scan; optional expiry dates
• Snap your fridge — AI reads it; confirm to add to your pantry (photos aren't kept on our servers; applied stocktakes are saved on your phone, last 12, deletable; on family phones too if shared)
• See what you can cook now; reminders for items with a low-stock level
■ Family groups
• Join by invite code — no account
• What you share (recipes with photos, shopping list, pantry) syncs between the group's phones
• Share by group (all with family, recipes only with a friend); list and pantry are shared per store or storage place, or kept private
■ Where your data lives
• No account; we never hold your email or phone number
• Our servers get your data only for family sharing, recipe pages, URL import, AI (incl. DAIDOKO AI's count, ad top-ups), bug reports (text, recent messages, app/OS version, random device ID), content reports and automatic ingredient-name matching (names only)
• Backup, restore, a phone-transfer file, plus your iCloud backup if on — your account, not ours
• AI: 5 free uses a month (AI images: 3, separate). Your own Gemini key removes the limit
• In a family group, what you share (recipes, books, list, pantry, meal plans, cooking logs incl. ratings, notes, place names) goes through our server; delete the group and it, photos included, is erased
• Pages are separate — deleting the group or the recipe doesn't stop them. Stop one from the recipe's menu or Settings → Data → Sharing overview, a book in Settings → Data → Recipe books
Note on AI: an AI feature sends what it needs (photo, ingredients, recipe, notes, receipt text, or what you tell DAIDOKO AI plus your recipe, pantry and list names); see the privacy policy. Only bulk plan inputs and results are kept, results 24 hours at most; reports you send are kept.
DAIDOKO does not detect allergens. Always check the ingredients yourself, especially if you have food allergies.
