Horrific app and total waste of money

I was subscribed to this app for a couple of months and yet I had been unable to use it successfully not even once every time I attempt to create notes create summaries or get any template to work. Nothing works the app crashes constantly. I cannot get a download of the transcription. I cannot get a download of the template. Nothing absolutely nothing about this app works. It’s a total waste and I’m somad. I spent several months on subscription for them. I’m usually not angry about spending money on something that works, but in this case, I really wish I can get my money back because this app is truly horrendous.

Scam

Don’t waste your time or money. I even payed for the year subscription and it won’t transcribe the entire audio file for me. I should have gone with Cockatoo.

Poor quality

This is one of the worst AI note taking apps I have tried. Recording stops as soon as you exit. Visual interface is poor. Thought I signed up for a trial and attempted to cancel immediately but Apple refused. So I’m stuck with it.

Terrible first experience

Here’s the note I just sent to the developer:

I just downloaded and subscribed to Notly on my iPhone.
I recorded my first meeting, and I’m having trouble with it. when I try to “View all” on the transcript, the app crashes every time. I’ve tried multiple times. Shut down all other apps, restarted the phone, etc… still crashes every time. So I’m looking for a way to export the transcript, and cannot find one.
I downloaded and installed the Mac version on my mac pro, but the meeting i recorded on my phone isn’t available there, so it doesn’t seem that there is any collaborative functionality.
The break down version of the transcript (brief summary, meeting minutes, table of contents, Smart ToDO) do not contain enough details of the transcript to be useful.
I need to export the transcript so that I can plug it into ChatGPT or Gemini to get something useful out of it. But I cannot find a way to export the transcript, and every time I open it, the app crashes.

Also, there are no tutorials or “how to” information anywhere that I can find. I consider myself to be fairly tech savvy. I work in cybersecurity for a fortune 4 company, and I have multiple certifications, and I’m good at what I do. Do not spend any money on this app until they make vast improvements. It should never have been released. It is a long way from being functional or useful.

I regret purchasing this

I purchased this less than 24 hours ago and I’ve used this on four different conference calls and yet it only records three minutes of the call. It’s a total waste of money.
