Idk what to stay
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I just can’t believe that this app says they enhance photos based on the result I got when I enhanced my photo with it. I enhanced a slightly blurry photo of me and my two kids sitting in front of pumpkins after enhancing it looked identical to the original. I was disappointed, but I decided it must just not be a good app until I noticed another picture that was oddly similar to the one just tried to enhance below my picture. It was definitely not a picture of my kids & me at all pumpkin patch, but it was a picture of a mother & her two kids at pumpkin patch in a similar pose to my photo.
Then I realized this photo of strangers that was remarkably similar to mine was actually the enhanced version of my photo.
I mean the people were the same ethnicity, they had the same hair color, they were sitting in the same pose at a pumpkin patch just like us, but other than that the photo this app created was not an enhanced version of my photo. I’m not sure what this app’s definition of enhanced is, but maybe I’ve misunderstood the purpose of this app in someway.
If you’re looking to enhance a photos of yourself though I don’t recommend this app at all. I mean despite the people in the enhanced version having the same skin color & same hair color they look absolutely nothing like us… we don’t even look related.
Furthermore, the enhanced photo’s quality was significantly worse in multiple ways than my original photo. I mean the angle of the photo was very skewed. It almost looked like a shot that was taken accidentally or as the camera fell. It was blurrier than the original. In my photo we were all smiling, but in the enhanced one no was smiling. Everyone’s face looked like they didn’t know they were having a photo taken.
The enhanced photo would need to be enhanced by another app if you wanted to use it for some reason. Idk if you can share the images on these reviews, but I really hope I can. I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible b/ calling what this app did enhancing it is just ridiculous.
To the creators of the app, I’m honestly sorry if this review sounds harsh. I know developing and perfecting apps like this take time to but, this one truly did shock me. I’ve tried a ton of these photo apps & never experienced anything like this before.
If I was just screwing around it wouldn’t have been such a big deal. However, the pictures I’m trying to edit are important & I need edited asap so that probably made the situation a little more frustrating than normally would be. That being said, just so you know even if I was just messing around after getting the results I did. I definitely would’ve deleted this app & I never would’ve recommended it to anyone else.
Also please let me know if I’ve misunderstood what this app is for b/ if that’s the case I will delete this review & apologize.
Anyways, I wish you all the best with this app & if you fix its issues I’d love to try it again in the future & if it truly enhances photos at that time I’d happily change this review or delete it & leave a new one. Just let me know.
