Pottery Studio shortens that guess. TRACK EVERY PIECE Keep a journal of what you have in progress. Record the clay body, the firing stage, the cone, and your own notes, and move a piece along as it goes from designing to greenware to bisque to glazed to fired. Photograph it at each stage so you can look back at what you actually did — the part that is impossible to reconstruct from memory three firings later. SEE THE GLAZE FIRST Photograph a bisque piece and preview it in celadon, tenmoku, shino, ash, crystalline, raku or salt fired, in a range of colours. It takes a few seconds, and it costs you nothing but a preview credit — considerably less than a kiln shelf and a week of your time. BUILD A SHAPE FROM SCRATCH Not thrown yet? Sketch a profile freehand, or trace one from a photograph, and the app turns it into a three-dimensional form you can glaze and save. Useful for planning a series, or for showing someone what you are aiming at. KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE Previews save to a private gallery and can be attached to journal projects, shared, or saved to your photo library. Your gallery is yours alone — nothing you upload is visible to anyone else. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS These are AI visualisations, not predictions. Real glaze chemistry depends on your clay, your kiln, your firing schedule and a certain amount of luck. Treat a preview as a sketch of an idea, not a promise about the result — the app says so on every image it produces. PRIVACY No account is required. The app never asks for your name or email. Photo metadata, including GPS coordinates, is stripped on your device before anything is uploaded. Your photos are never used to train AI models, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. CREDITS You start with five free previews. After that, previews are bought in packs and never expire. There is no subscription. Note: purchased credits are tied to your account, not to the App Store, so if you want them to survive a reinstall or a new device, use Sign in with Apple from the Settings screen. It takes one tap and asks for nothing beyond what Apple already provides.
