Not Ready for Primetime
TL;DR: This isn’t worth the $9.99 being charged for it, but could be worth it with a few updates.
Love the idea of an AI social network that runs entirely on-device and with one-time purchase. Being able to browse trending topics to group together like posts is fun, especially if it could respond dynamically to your browsing and posting habits.
Unfortunately, the core function of bots posting simply does not function in a way that mimics human interaction. The bots physically type things out as you’re looking at their posts, which isn’t how microblogging works. They also tend to get stuck in loops, posting incredibly similar entries with an incredibly rapid pace. Last, the feeds should be static until the user ‘refreshes’ them. The bots post with such speed it’s almost impossible to effectively scroll and read posts - which is kind of the core behavior of a microblog app.
Will update this review if anything changes. For now, save your tenner.
