I was dumb enough to trust the “six months free” only to find that in addition to a subscription (the “free” part) to use meaningful features you have to pay tokens/points. If they’d have says it’s free but you have to pay then maybe I’d trust them. But I don’t. Deleting.
Beware: Lifetime option…
I was have the Lifetime membership, but I am prompted to purchase credits when attempting to generate anything. I just downloaded it. So far, it seems useless to me.
Absolute garbage.
Even though I got this free from AppAdvice for 6 months it keeps on using up credits. Most of the time it doesn’t work anyway and produces error after error. Deleted.
What’s the free trial for?
Granted 6 months free trial but you still have to pay for credits to do anything.

Slow. Keeps asking me to pay.
I got this free in a promo. But every time I open it it asks for me to pay in Dollars ! (I’m in the U.K.). I have to force close and reopen and then that usually works. But the app is generally slow.

BeGen promises unique tools like a Baby Generator, but the execution is deeply flawed.
1. Performance: The app is painfully slow. The “We are generating” message can hang for minutes, with no way to cancel except closing the app entirely.
2. Functionality: The Baby Generator tool is disappointingly rigid. It assumes a “Mum and Dad” pairing, ignoring diverse family dynamics. Even when using different pairings in other filters to generate anime characters (e.g., Mum and Daughter), it defaults to heteronormative assumptions.
3. User Interface: The UI is clunky and unintuitive. The text field for prompts shifts off-screen while typing, making it unusable. Navigation feels outdated and awkward.
4. Image Quality: The generated images often have a distinct Japanese aesthetic, regardless of the input, which feels limiting.
Overall, BeGen feels outdated, slow, and restrictive. With so many issues, it’s hard to recommend. It desperately needs updates to performance, inclusivity, and user experience.

I’m absolutely blown away by its capabilities! As a huge "Attack on Titan" fan, I was excited to see what kind of artwork it could create based on the series. please focus on character poses in the next release update

best app ever
I recently used the BeGen AI art generator app to restyle couple photos and was very impressed! The user-friendly interface made it easy to upload images and choose artistic styles.
