Wish they had PC version
I hate learning languages on my phone so I tried to use an emulator and it didn’t work. I do not use any of the apps my teachers told us to get because it’s on my phone
I’d love to have used it but..
It won’t play any of the sound clips. I tried troubleshooting, reinstalling, headphones, different settings. Also, the X and back arrow buttons don’t work in some screens, I had to close the entire app and open it again to start over.

미션 체크가 안 돼요. 발음 분석 점수도 안 떠요.
왜 미션 달성을 했는데도 미션 달성 체크가 안 되나요? 발음 점수도 나오지 않고 그래프가 텅 비어있어요. 힌트 그대로 답변하고 텍스트도 맞게 나왔는데도 오답처리 되는 경우도 있어요... 전체적인 QA와 개선이 필요해 보입니다ㅠㅠ

Incredibly useful app for elementary Korean learning. The speaking scenarios and AI chatbot are very engaging!
I like it
I really appreciate the heavy emphasis on conversation. This area is often under-practiced by foreign learners who are unable to converse with native speakers often. I really like the toggle of the hints to customize your difficulty. I can see how using this app could get one used to common verbal phrases and feel more comfortable speaking aloud.
However, the app felt clunky to use at some points. The speech recognition often didn’t work properly and registered drastically different words than what I had said. It was also difficult to use with headphones. The set script of dialogue also feels a bit restrictive in that the user cannot deviate too much.

Good, but leaves little room for self-improvement
The conversation topics are diverse, applicable, and fun to talk about. The questions asked are also interesting and kept me engaged. I loved the interactive nature and being able to practice my speaking, but unless the hint is followed, the responses are a little dry. It’s easier to carry the conversation and receive better responses by following exactly what the hints say, but this discourages natural speaking and self-integrating the vocabulary suggested. For longer hints, even though what the AI wrote out for my voice matched the hint, I would be asked the same question multiple times without being able to move on. Also, the mission vocabulary was very helpful and applied to each topic well, but I would appreciate translations for those words as well as English definitions. I appreciated the examples though - it provided great context for the words.

Good but not beginner friendly
The app is good for practicing Korean, but it’s a little tedious to learn Korean through the app. This is because the conversations are very congested, and with little knowledge of the language, learners may find it difficult to learn through the use of the dictionary as it required you to go back and forth several times. That being said, it is a great app to practice pronunciation as well as learning how Korean conversations typically flow.

1人で勉強していると中々会話練習ができないので、このアプリで様々なシチュエーションに合わせて会話練習ができて良かった。また自分が発した言葉がちゃんと伝わっているのか、すぐに確認できること、録音されているため自分の声を聞いて発音や抑揚をチェックできるのが良かった。
答え方が悪かったのか1ターンで会話が終了することがあったのが残念。また中級までしかなかったので、上級まであると良い。相手の喋り方がロボットのようだったのが残念。
会話練習が必要だと感じていたので、これからも活用していきたい。

I like this
이 앱은 보통 아닙니다. 방법이 정말 재미있고 특별해요. 다른 나라에 있는 학생들이나 한국에 와서 얼마 안 된 학생들은 한국 사람이랑 말하기 쉽지 않아요. 이 앱으로 연습하면 말하기에 신경 쓸 필요 없어요. 문자를 들으면서 대답을 생각하고 쓰는 걸 도 보면서 전면적으로 한국어를 배울 수 있게 해주는 앱이다.
