Ailem: Earthquake & Safety

When the earth shakes, the first question is always the same: where is my family, is everyone okay? Ailem is built to answer that question in seconds. After a strong earthquake the app switches to Earthquake Mode by itself and gathers your family on one screen; even if the internet goes down, phones keep reaching each other. On every other day it keeps your family organized with location, calendar and budget. EARTHQUAKE MODE - Automatic, based on official AFAD data: when a magnitude 5+ quake hits your area, Earthquake Mode turns on and alerts your whole family - For magnitude 4-5 quakes it first asks "Did you feel it?" and lets you decide - Loud siren that can sound even when your phone is on silent (with your permission) - Live Earthquake Mode card on the lock screen - One tap "I'm safe" and the whole family sees it - The last known location of a member who lost connection stays on the map - Emergency: call 112 and send a location alert to the whole family OFFLINE COMMUNICATION - No network, no internet? Messages still travel phone to phone over Bluetooth - The earthquake chat sends over the internet and Bluetooth at the same time and syncs when the connection returns - Community Help Network: a shared channel with nearby Ailem users; messages hop from phone to phone to reach further, and calls for help stand out FINDER - Shows the direction and distance of a nearby family member - On iPhones with UWB: precise direction and distance, even whether they are above or below you - On other phones: approximate distance via Bluetooth, with vibration that speeds up as you get closer - Far away? Points to their last known location - "Play sound" rings the phone you are looking for EVERY DAY, TOO - Live family map with battery levels - Place alerts for home, school and classes - Live tracking when needed, with mutual consent - SOS, low battery alerts, private family chat with voice and photos - Shared calendar, bill reminders, family budget and shopping list PRIVACY Your data is shared only with your family. No ads, no data selling. IMPORTANT Ailem is not an early warning system. Earthquake Mode starts after AFAD publishes the event; notifications may be delayed and some quakes may be missed. It does not replace official warning and emergency systems. Bluetooth and Finder range depends on the environment; concrete and walls shorten it. We hope you never need it. But if you ever do, your family will be ready.
