Calibration tip for TV backlight
Due to distortion of the fisheye lens of the controller for the TV backlight, calibration can involve guesswork unless you use something like sticky notes to mark the five calibration points on your TV screen (top edge center, left edge center, right edge center, and two spaced evenly on the bottom edge). I think that EIGHT calibration points would produce more accurate backlight results (one in each of the four corners and one in the middle of each edge). Backlight colors tend to be much more saturated than those on the TV screen, and there is a strong bias to the use of red. Also, please make the app so that it works in both landscape and portrait orientation: I downrated by one star because of that.

App issue
Please fix the app!! I’m tired of my my lights not connecting!!!!!! Always getting a “network error” or “device not found”
App doesn’t work
App wont connect to wifi and says Operation Failed when connecting to bulb. Needs update or need new bulb. Dont waste your time on this
Wake-Up Automation Gone- FIX
New update removed the interface for controlling wake up and nighttime automations, overall layout was changed and the UI has become less intuitive and more segmented. Aside from that great, but this new update completely changes a core function.
New update is atrocious
Update - please fix this. I am now able to use the awake and sleep settings but it’s NOT user friendly. I like being able to adjust it from day to day because my work schedule is all over the place. I liked the ease of using sleep and awake settings separately before the update. And since the update the lights have developed kinds of their own and turn on randomly after I turn them off and even if I turn awake settings on work day only it will still turn on on the weekends. The other day they turned on at 2am. Please fix.

The newest update is absolutely horrible. 99% of the reason i use these bulbs and app is for the sleep and wake up modes. With the new update it is not there and not user friendly at all and I cannot use these anymore.

The App keeps Crashing?
The App is crashing even after connecting it to my Wi-Fi. Everything is setup but the moment I try to change the lights or press anything it will crash and I have a new iPhone

Love the music sync mode—lights dance perfectly to my Spotify playlists.
Lights are amazing but the app is iffy
I absolutely love the lights and it’s performance. Looks beautiful however the remote functions are done entirely through the app which either won’t load all the pages/ functions or goes to a complete error phase even when WiFi connection is strong 🙃
App won’t stop crashing
I’m really excited to connect these lights to my new tv. Unfortunately, I can’t get past the “connect wifi” part of the setup. Whenever I go to connect the wifi, it crashes. It’s frustrating.
App doesn’t work
The only way to use my lamp is through the app, but the app doesn’t work. I can’t even turn my lamp on anymore. Waste of money.

Can’t calibrate
I got some TV backlight LEDs, and I was able to mostly set them up, but when I try to calibrate the screen it fails to load the image every time, so I can’t calibrate. It still kinda works, but doesn’t backlight the image as it’s supposed to.

Add widgets/shortcuts
The app is really nice and I love all the different options to adjust the light any way you’d like. I would like the developers to consider adding a widget or shortcut options so that one can quickly turn on the light without having to open the app and then go to the menu and select a lighting option. Thanks.

Works great! Til it doesn’t.
Setup was easy and quick. Then one day your internet goes out and you have to reset. And your tv backlights will never reconnect to the app again. And you’ll email customer service, because they have no number listed anywhere. Even though they say they do on their website. And you’ll never hear back from them. And you’ll have useless lights on the back of your tv with a useless camera hanging off the front. And youll go to Amazon to leave a product review. And Amazon will tell you your account hasn’t met requirements to leave reviews yet. And so you’ll find yourself in the AppStore. And my review will be right here, saying “I tried to warn you.”
