Can an app like this be made for older apple phones? I have the 6 and I think this app is pretty cool but I’m one of the unsupported devices.

Review

It doesn’t let me use it because I don’t have a TruecDepth camera. It only works on the X, but if you had the X this app would not be necessary.

Why only iPhone X?

The iPhone X as most people said was FAILING!!! So I’m confused and shocked why it’s only iPhones X why can’t it be like the iPhone 7 or 8 up?
I get it if you don’t understand me but I really don’t get why it’s only iPhone X thanks for reading,

We are sorry, because only the iPhone X TrueDepth camera can do this. No matter what you think about the iPhone X, but the TrueDepth camera will change the experience of everyone in the future, please believe us and be patient.

Very disappointing

I was looking forward to this and I can’t even use it because I have an 8 but I rather not have this than not have the home button

We have a lot of other features that may need to be discovered slowly. Such as full body mode, filter mode, prop system, speech recognition emotions...

I phone 8?

So back in the fall I got a I phone
8, and I made a list of all the pros and cons with the I phone 8. All I can say is that one of my pros were that I could use the Animoji thing, now yes I get that there has to be a special type of camera, but why is that the problem? I mean that can’t be the only thing I don’t get it? Why do you need that. Somebody pls explain!

Won’t work on my phone

The app description said it would work on my iPhone, but when I tried to open it, it told me it o my works in iPhone X. Sad face.

I am sorry to hear this. We are really trying to tell you through various methods that it only supports iPhone X. (includes video, screenshots, app description) However, the description in the Appstore is something we can‘t change. Unless future "Only for iPhone X" options available to developers.
