Great magazine. 50/50 chance the app will work. Stick with the hard copy for now. Probably a few years before it will be reliable.

I’ve been reading the paper version for over 10 years and it is the best aviation magazine out there. The Newsstand version saves us outside the US and UK a few $$ in subscription costs. The news section covers the whole planet every month and the pictures and diagrams are the kind you want to keep and look at over and over. An now that its electronic, you don’t have to clutter up the den with back issues.

Unable to restore purchases
I've been unable to restore purchases for over two weeks now. The only advice is to register with pocketmags circumventing the App Store to get my purchases back. Avoid this until pocketmags sort out iTunes App Store purchases.
Great magazine
This is a great magazine. Plenty of aviation news from around the world, covering military and domestic news. Also includes helicopter news. If you are an aviation fanatic, you will love this magazine.

Pocket map app has few bugs in it, current version will not load magazines.
AI
Great mag for keeping up to date with developments. Some of the articles can be a bit long, but by and large, the compartmental concept works well.
Great App
Since getting advice about using this app with ios6 it works perfectly. Apparently they've recently made some updates which must have worked. All i had to do was hold my finger on the screen on the app splash page (loading image)for 3 seconds which let me refresh the app.
Dire
Dire - spent nearly an hour fiddling around after this update to get the magazines I had already bought months ago. The magazine I'd just bought still wouldn't download, ended up in an endless loop of misleading messages so had to email tech support. I didn't follow the instructions because they referred to a subscription rather than an individual purchase and now 24 hours later the magazine is downloading. WH Smiths can rest easy, this is no real competition.

Buggy Apps
Crash on both iPad 1 and iPhone 4 with the latest IOS. All it say is "Loading please wait" and crash.
Does not open on new iPad!!!!
Does not open. Reinstalled. Hard reset. Nothing works. This is affecting ALL of this company's mags. Stay away!!!
Air International magazine
I am a regular reader of the Air International magazine, unfortunately I find the iPad app a huge disappointment because it is so unstable. It is very frustrating that the program crashes out frequently. I regret making an annual subscription. The app is a faithful reproduction of the magazine with it's excellent news and features. I'll stick to the paper format until they sort this app.

Deceiving
You pay $4 to download it then you have to pay for each issue besides one. What a joke and a waste of money.

Great magazine at a better price, would be 5 stars but on some issues can't enlarge page without text becoming fuzzy. Please release an update to fix.
Great content, very poor presentation
There is a lot of potential with this magazine, but it is currently let down by very poor presentation. It is difficult to navigate around & the text is difficult to read, sadly making it unusable. You are paying the same amount here as you would for the printed magazine - for that I expect some tailoring to the iPad, not just a lazy copy. These days there are a lot of very good examples of how news & magazines can be shown on the iPad - see the Guardian, The Economist or National Geographic.
