Great app with iOS widget
I wish it has more source sensors to pick from but it’s great if you just need an iOS Home Screen widget.

Uses too much data
I was on a trip for a week and iOS said this app used 1GB of cellular data! Even in my home area it used almost 900MB for the previous month. Way too much data usage for an app like this.

Awesome and Clean Design
I love this app and check it often. I love the layout, it's both easy to use and very clean looking.
“Renting” is fine!
Just wanted to counter a review written by someone who says they don’t rent apps. There’s nothing wrong with subscription pricing and developers and designers have to make. Slicing. Keep up the good work!

Great Air Quality App
Clear presentation, clean interface, easy to use, has a nice map feature, no clutter. I use it every day.
Can’t remember where it is
You would think an app could remember its location from use to use but this app is too stupid to remember. Unless you let it check any time it wants, it just fails. You can trick it. If you quit the app then restart it, it thinks it’s lost then works. If you just switch to another app then switch back it’s brain dead. This is a sadness.

until Apple gives us the ability to share our what3words square or 1000 foot square it seems zip code is the right thing for privacy. All the other weather apps do it this way ( see WeatherBug ). Most let me add many so I can easily see what’s happening where my parents live or any other place. For privacy, the app remembering feels ( and is ) more privacy that if I must allow the app to see my location within feet.

Not quite
It’s a nice app but doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The data is not accurate (we have a very smoky, orange sky, and this app says ‘moderate’ (53) where other national weather apps put us at 158). Also, difficult to get to show info without location data. I don’t want to share location but just search by city/zip. The map saves this app, when I can get to it, past the location data requirement.

Inaccurate and location required.
This week had been bad with fires, smokes, and falling ashes. App says good! Wrong!

No station in Folsom, Ca
App thinks i live in Roseville. Umm, nope, thats 20 miles away in a different county. Not sure why it isn't connecting to the folsom station, but going to delete as it’s not helpful for me.
Love the detail this app has
The details of the information this app has is fantastic. The readout of the pollution in the air is worth the app. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Make sure there are detectors in your global position
I can’t use the app because there are no detectors in my part of the world but the support from Air Lookout is helpful and professional
Thought It Was Good
I love the layout and idea of this app, but I lost faith in it these last few days during the Woolsey fire. It's told me all these days that the air quality here in LA is good..as it's raining ash.

I am slowly getting use to the app. It is helping to understand outside conditions so I can better control my asthma.
Dangerous app
I have never left a negative review in the App Store before. I feel if an app does not need my needs, I can delete it and not worry about it. However, this app is dangerous.
I live in an area that has been surrounded by wildfires for over a month. You’ve probably read about one of them – the Carr Fire – or heard about it in the national news. Because of the extensiveness of the fires to the south, north, east, and west of us, the air quality our community has generally been dangerous (an AQI of 150 or higher).
This app consistently has under reported the air-quality in our community, saying it is "good" with AQIs around 30. It has also significantly under reported the air quality in Redding, California, where the Carr Fire began and claimed three lives and destroyed almost 1200 buildings.
This malfunction is not on the same level as a malfunction of the game. People's lives depend upon the accuracy of air quality reports. And they are not getting it from this app. People in the high risk category jeopardize their health in bad air. And it’s not as simple as looking outside to see if it is smoky. Because of the nature of these fires, we have had days that appear relatively clear, but the air quality is very poor because of ozone as well as small particulates.
I emailed the developer of this app and explained the problem. I was hoping to get a response from him, but I’ve received none. So, for your safety, do not download this app. I’m going to contact Apple to see if it can be removed from the App Store.
