Works but limited

I wish there was a snap to grid function on the ios function. Resizing is possible but theres no way to resize to an exact size so all my instruments are now different sizes. Also no way to change the background on instruments. Too expensive for this limited functionality..

hortible. Waste of money.

Dont buy. It wont connect to xplane at all. I've done everything i know to get it to work. Even online tricks to see if that works. Nothing. it used to work with xp11 but not now. Plus you cant get premium panels like overhead (forward & aft) 737 panel on the ipad air manager.

Works fine but missing a lot

Works fine with MSFS2024, connects fine no issues.
No Garmin available in MSFS24
Not all the widgets work in MSFS24
Dragging and scaling is hit and miss
It’s buggy when trying to remove widgets, have to close and restart the app each time.

Could do with some proper instructions, just lazy developers not bothering in my opinion
I bought this version instead of the full pc version for a couple of reasons, £70 is far too much for the full version
I have spacedesk, spare mini hdmi monitors and multiple DP/ hdmi options but just didn’t want all the cabling so thought an old iPad would be an easy option.
After a weekend using, now getting used to the software
It does feel like it’s not finished yet, more beta.

Aircraft not supported

I’ve given this 3 stars mainly because it does not yet provide instruments for MSFS2020 Cessna Citation (September 2025). I have an IPad that would have been great to display the FMC. I did do a quick test with a Bell helicopter and rpm gauge which worked straight away without problem, I did however note that there was a difference in rpm readings to the main one displayed on my computer screen

NOT CO,COMPATIBLE

This says it’s compatible with Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 but it is not. After spending over $100 on both apps, iOS and pc, support tells me there’s no date as to when it may be compatible. DO NOT BUY

Still no update for MSFS 2024

Sadly still not update or new app compatibility for MSFS 2024.

Great start to sim career

I’ve just got into flight sims using MSFS. This app is excellent.
Got my iPad on my yoke so it all feels natural.
After installing I realised I needed the pc app also, ran it, boom all working on my Cessna :) My first custom screen in minutes.

Had a go with another prebuilt and it’s brilliant. Probably get the full version eventually with another screen. But this does just fine.

Works great with no extra software running. Once hook installed, all good

This is awesome. Love the ready to go templates. I haven’t encountered any in app purchases either, this is the full package. Active development as well! Get it now!

Streaming in X-Plane seems magical

Starting with version 4.2 the ability to stream the glass displays from the G530/430 and G1000 instruments directly from the simulator to your networked iPad is fantastic. It’s like having a fully operational G 1000 or 530 with touch control buttons and knobs for a tiny fraction of the cost of actual hardware. The iPad screen quality is better than anything out there on any dedicated hardware instrument you can buy.

Air Manager for iPad: A Frustrating Experience

As a flight simulator enthusiast, I was excited to try out Air Manager on my iPad with MSFS 2020 installed on my PC. However, my experience with this app has been less than satisfactory. Let me share my thoughts on why I found it unusable and disappointing.
The Good:
Concept: The idea of creating custom instrument panels using an iPad is appealing. Having touch-enabled controls for my flight simulator sounded promising.
The Bad:
Flashing Dials: The most frustrating issue I encountered was what I call flash dials. When I loaded an instrument panel, the dials would initially appear full-sized on the iPad screen, but then they would suddenly shrink to show only a portion of the dial. This inconsistency made it impossible to use effectively.
Hours of Frustration: I spent hours trying to figure out a solution. I scoured forums, read documentation, and experimented with settings, but the problem persisted. It felt like a waste of time and money.
Lack of Clarity: The installation process was not straightforward. I expected a simple setup, but instead, I found myself navigating through confusing menus and options. The lack of clear instructions added to my frustration.
Conclusion:
Air Manager has potential, but the current version falls short. The flash dials issue severely impacts usability, and the complexity of installation makes it far from an easy add-on. I’ve requested support, but until this major problem is resolved, I cannot recommend this app to fellow simmers.
If you’re considering Air Manager, proceed with caution. Hopefully, future updates will address these issues and improve the overall user experience.

Does not work on iPad pro 12.9"

the app does not render correctly on the ipad pro as another review stated.

gauges are only partly displayed, data from my pc is received but if you cant see the entire gauge its of no use.

i feel a bit burnt, after spending 40aud on the app so i will be requesting a refund from apple.

I hope the developer fixes this but seeing that it hasn't been updated in over 8 months i wont be holding my breath

Works now very well with X Plane 12 on my M2 Mac ! Thanks

Easy to configure and works well on XP 12 on ARC processor MAC

Poor App

All attempts to get this App to link to XPlane 11 on my PC came to nothing waste of money my advice is not to bother

Great app, but missing some functionality

I bought it for the generic Garmin 400/500 series GPS for MSFS, but it says they only allow touch and won’t display anything on the screen on iPad.

If that functionality happens, I’d gladly repurchase.

Works great for me with X Plane 12

Using this just fine for with an IPad on iOS 16 and X Plane on a MacBook Pro. The Cessna 172 conventional works great. Useful add on when the panel inside X Plane is very dim..

Does not work with Apple Studio Ultra M1

I have been unable to get the plugin to work with my computer unless I toggle “open with rosetta” in preferences. I have contacted support and started a ticket, with no fix. I’m still hoping to be able to use the app in the future. It would make flying x-Plane 12 much better.

Doesn’t work on my iPad Pro first gen

Great product, works fine on my iPad mini but unfortunately it does not on my iPad Pro first gen. There are issues with the black screen when I try to load the instruments. They do not load completely, only partially. I wish I could send a screen shot, tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing, the problem doesn’t go away.

Love the app, last update 4.1 has issues though

Must have app if you like flight simulators, connects perfectly with Xplane 11, however update 4.1 doesn't work for me on iOS 9.3.5, I have three iPad 2s and in all of them the app crashes when starting and doesn't enter the app, didn't happen on 4.0. Hope it gets fixed because I love using it.

Nothing but at big X

Got a red x thru the screen. Won’t close, could not find directions
Got it to run my zibo tablet, don’t think it can, or I have to pay extra

Maybe I missed something

Not much use

If I enter some numbers, say in the Loading screen on Zibo tablet, it types multiples of the number. I.e. if I press the number 4, it will enter 444444. Every number.

PFD also lags behind the aircraft, making it very difficult to fly with.

Exciting prospect, but can’t use it.
