New use for an old iPad
Setup an old iPad mini that I had no other use for as a remote baby monitor for our granddaughter. Great app and brought an old bit of tech back into use.
App scheint nicht mehr richtig zu funktionieren
Früher war es kein Problem, das iPad als Kamera und das iPhone als Bildschirm für Monitoring zu verwenden. Jetzt verbindet sich die Kamera nicht mehr. Alle Möglichkeiten wurden ausprobiert, Keine Chance. Schade! Somit ist die App für mich unbrauchbar.
Excellent product
Air beam top notch, I use the product for a backup camera when connecting the travel trailer. I use an old iPad in the cab and an old iPhone on the tailgate of my truck. Works great.

i like this app, but my mac mini can't find my iphone's camera. my iphone can find my mac mini's camera, however. this app seems more for two ios devices. don't expect any tech support, my email was thrown into their etrash can.

In meinem Fall wollte ich die Kamera meines iPad Pro, welches als SmartHome Zentrale im Wohnzimmer an der wand hängt, zusätzlich als Überwachungskamera nutzen.
Da die AirBeam App im Vordergrund stehen muss, sieht man hier lediglich ebenfalls die Kamera Ansicht, was nicht wirklich hilfreich oder vorteilhaft ist.
Somit leider nichts besonderes und kostenlose Apps können problemlos mithalten…

Funktioniert nicht
Leider taugt die Anwendung im Moment nur für Aufnahmen. Ich nutze ein MacBookAir als Kamera, ein IPhone 14 pro als Monitor, eine Verbindung ist leider nicht möglich. Der Server reagiert nicht.
Wirklich schade, zumal ich nun 2 knapp 4€ gezahlt habe.

Voici une super App, ca marche bien, pas de pub, c’est nickel. C’est dommage que l’app ne soit plus suivis pas les dev, il n’y a aucun conçurent qui arrive à faire aussi bien
useless for remote access
absolute waste of money.. works ok if you are on the same network but terrible if you intent to leave home and use as a security camera.. I bought the Pro version and set it up correctly but would not work when I was away from home.. every now and then it would but majority of times it wouldn’t… bought a real cheap camera instead and it works a treat.. don’t waste your money

Hab unnötig Geld ausgeben. Ich kann die Kamera von meinen iMac von der ferne nicht aktivieren. Selbst im selben w-lan geht das nicht.
Langsam in der Datenübertragung
Mit iOS 16 ist kein Empfang von AAC Low Delay mehr möglich. Mit iOS 15 geht es jedoch weiterhin.
Keine Bedienung
Die app reagiert seit 3 Tagen nichtmehr, wenn ich sie auf dem iPad starte. Es sind keine Eingaben mehr möglich
Consistent IP connection (wireless intranet)
AirBeam consistently works via IP and that’s exactly what I need. Epoccam, OBS Camera wasted my money and time with terrible connection problems.

Unstable & unsupported
This should be so good but I can’t get it to reliably hold a wifi connection. I have emailed support but get no reply. Have the developers lost interest? Frustrated and disappointed.
Requires more features to be useful
What I’ve seen and am currently using is good start. But to be truly useful for its intended function, several additional features are needed: 1. A mask needs to be added so that motion detection is limited to only a selected area of the image. 2. “Light switch”/sunny-cloudy recognition needs to be added. Nearly all of my detections are simply from changes in ambient light levels. 3. A greater range of online and network storage options are needed. E.g. Google Drive, iCloud Drive, network shares etc. Further to these, there are two controls for motion detection, the sensitivity and the threshold. There needs to be better documentation on how these work together and how to set the two for the best effect, and certainly how to reduce false positives.

Tipptopp, nutze ein alte Handy (IPhone 4) als Babyphone. Funktioniert klasse 😊
