MoreAircraft Horizon is a photo-realistic artificial horizon indicator, also known as an Attitude Indicator, designed for iOS devices. It simulates the instrument found in general aviation aircraft, providing realistic pitch and roll indications.
Key features include photo-realistic graphics, smooth and realistic movement, a resettable zero, landscape mode, native iPad support, and a digital display for pitch and roll angles. The graphics are based on photos of real aircraft instruments.
Based on the provided information, Aircraft Horizon is a paid application. It does not have in-app purchases or advertisements.
The application has been tested on iPhone 3g, 3Gs, 4, and iPod touch running firmware version 4.0 and up. It also includes a native iPad app and supports the latest iOS version.
While the iPhone doesn't have the same type of gyroscope as an aircraft, this application simulates the instrument function using the iPhone's built-in accelerometer. The pitch and roll angles are represented both with the analog instrument and a digital display.
