Outdated

Unless I’m missing something it appears a bit outdated, no A350’s etc. Shame really

Could be a great app…

….if the database wasn’t several years out-of-date.

Needs lots of updates

Missing most Airbus neos for example, 787-8 and -10, all A350s. Otherwise good info.

Great!!

A great app for aviation enthusiasts!! Easy to use, and the creator is very responsive about updates!

Update:
Nice to see an update for iOS 14...
Please add:
Airbus A220
Airbus A350
Boeing Dreamlifter
Boeing 737-MAX

Brilliant App

I have had this app since it came out. As an aircraft fanatic it’s a must have. I hope it widens to include even more aircraft types especially General Aircraft civilian light types.
Think you might want, then you do. The spotting log is great to record what you see where and when. Overall brilliant.

Great app

Brilliant app, now I can keep a digital log of all aircraft spotted in one place instead of paper logs that can be lost or chewed by my dogs 🐶, only downer is I would like to be able to search my sightings by registration as well as name but that might be my misuse. Oh and I find the app addictive 😉, well done guys.

Response from developer

On the sightings page press the “sort by name” and you can select how to sort the sightings. Choose Name, Date, Location name or Registration.

Good, but...

Complete aircraft listing, outstanding descriptions. Photos are VERY poor quality low resolution. I wood rather have a good diagram than these photos. Unless I'm missing something, there is only one per aircraft.

Very deceiving

Not worth the money. Its simply a low resolution collection of pictures with a few lines of comments. No manufacturers stats weight, measurement, etc

Great app

There was a slight flaw spotted, but the developer has submitted a revised version to apple. Excellent customer service and well worth the money.

:(

Since updating to iOS 8, the app crashes every time you select more than one filter.

Could be a really good App.

I see what you did there...or tried to. The identifying characteristics filter is a great idea, but sort of worthless without a complete, up-to-date, and/or relevant database.
I didn't count, but I think there are more Russian made airliners listed than there are total corporate aircraft! If you're only going to list one aircraft pic of a particular series (eg the Challenger 600), at least give clues as to what the visual differences might be between variations. The Wikipedia level background info (waaay out of date in some instances by the way) is pretty unneeded in this forum, especially when entire aircraft series are completely missing.
I bought this app for visual identification. Nothing more.
If I want to know the minutia info/dates, etc about a jet, I can google it once your app tells me what it is.
Your target market is interested in quickly identifying airplanes. Period.
Keep it simple and I think this app could work. There certainly isn't one out there right now that is any good.

Great app!

Filter function is great for narrowing down aircraft types
