i love this app! i was gonna download uav forecast or whatever it is but its not free so i found this and its free! yeah, no wind speeds above 400 feet but that could be considered both good or bad. i would prefer up to 500m but either way great app
Genuine must have for drone pilots
I’ve been using AirData for about 6 months and it provides valuable data about the forecast like wind, temperature, visibility and most importantly satellites!
It also has the ability to go look back at previous flights and look at what happened.

Having used this app for over two years now, I’m starting to be a little bit disappointed. I love the AirData website. I use it all the time. I just wish that they would spend some time moving some of the functionalities on the website into the app, at least as much as possible. For instance, there are times that I need to show a potential client or someone I am working with logbook information, such as, total number of flight hours, make and model flown, number of hours flown in the last 90 days, etc. The website gives you a badge, that summarizes that data. You cannot pull up a badge on this app to show anybody. On the website I can at least pull up a list of all of the certificates and trainings that I have done, even the ones that they don’t process into a badge. There are a lot of search and rescue training courses that AirData doesn’t make badges for, but people need to see. On the website, I can at least save those certificates and pull them up. On this app, I cannot even pull up the table that lists the courses.
So, overall this app is great if you’re a hobbyist or a recreationalist, but if you’re working on a professional level in either the civilian or public service side, you have to be using the website, instead of the app.

Good app tells the wind speed
So much good Informarion!
I got the app because I crashed my DJI drone and needed to know which of my batteries was involved in the crash. The app gave me the serial number needed to identify the battery
Helpful app but needs more settings options
In the UK we generally use metric for altitude, temperatures but mph for wind speed. I would like to choose the units per metric. As it is so have to keep switching back and forth in the settings which is very cumbersome.

If you plan to use it for the weather data, I wouldn’t bother. More accurate to roll some dice.
Missing back button on iPad version
There is no back button on the settings page for iPads I phone has it. This would be a 5star but needs to be fixed
Amazing app
For anyone like a hobbyist, even a professional aerial photographer should and must have this app. It’s easy to understand pretty basic, but very analytical at the same time . By far one of the best apps for diagnostics reports flight log data device data control data, and the list goes on.
A Must Have App For Drone Pilots
It has great weather forecast for 15 days and keeps a ton of information about your flights, drones and batteries.
It logs all your flights so there is no need to keep a manual log. Also great that it work on my iPhone and iPads.
I like to use my IPad at home for planing and use an iPad Mini when not I travel. Being able to use the app on my iPhone and iPads is a huge plus!

I subscribe to UAV but this app is really poor text is outside the screen, I can’t get my data (I can on my Mac but not this app) it’s just so rubbish so you have been warned.

no longer updating flight logs from DJI mini 3 pro
very annoyed there isn’t a help or support link within the ios app. This software is now i useable after i paid a year subscription. The last successful upload was July 11th, and have flown several times since. Uploads and sync now buttons do nothing , so connected to aircraft and got some response when synced. 7 flight logs uploaded it said !!! yay !!! so i refreshed data and nothing !!
so i logged out and back in … nothing !!
i want my money back and will log complaint with apple if the developers cannot fix this problem !

Subscription based free app, you can’t do much without a subscription, but the most ridiculous thing is that their cheapest plan still won’t be enough to get you started using the app. 🤣
You’re better off using your DJI app as it offers the same services as their free and cheapest plan, plus more.
All it offers for those who doesn’t wanna spend £6.99+ per month is to look at your flight data, but only up to 100. Not to mention that it didn’t even sync any of my flights from the past 2 years… 😬
In conclusion they would much rather have your drone fail and collect your data than help you. 🤷🏻♂️ (not to mention that even though I didn’t allow to share my location, it still got it correct, so what was the point of asking?)

Needs Dashboard/Summary Information
Cool app, but it really needs a dashboard that shows summary information like total flights, total flight time, etc., similar to what the web interface provides.
