2 stars only because it kind of works
Currently no way to adjust the unit from degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit. No way to adjust brightness of the unit or anyway to adjust the tone volume the unit makes everyone you make a change. The beep sound on the X8 is LOUD!
機種登録できない
スマホでリモコン操作したくてアプリに機種登録しようと1時間ほど頑張ったが接続できない。互換モードとやらとBluetooth接続の説明もないしデバイスリセットガイドの手順書きも意味不明。早い点滅になってから長押ししても電源切れるだけでゆっくりの点滅になど変化しないよ？
1時間と書いたが気持ち的に残りの1日何もできないほど無駄にした。時間返してほしい。

Graphs are inaccessible
I downloaded it to see the particle count, because I can’t tell if my filter is sensing pollution properly.
First, the particle count never changes.
Second, there is a graph, but you can’t zoom in on just one day or hour, so it’s always a useless straight line showing a week at a time average.
The controls work. So basically this is a fancy remote control. Since the unit is continuously running and automated, I don’t need that.
Also, I shouldn’t have to put my wifi password in. Doesn’t that leave me vulnerable to hacking? Like, is someone now able to log into all my camera feeds?
Too sketchy for any value. I regret this. Let me know when you fix it!!

Ứng dụng bị treo, máy lọc hỏng liên tục
Sử dụng máy lọc cứ được 2 tháng là bị treo và phải gửi hãng bảo hành sửa chữa. App cũng bị đơ luôn, không kết nối được thiết bị. Thành thật khuyên mọi người đừng nên mua Airdog
What a waste of time
Spend 20 minutes trying to get it to work, followed all the instructions, and STILL never connected. And now guess what? I CAN’T JOIN MY WIFI NETWORK ANYMORE.

แจ้งตัวเลขได้แค่หลักเดียว และอยู่ๆข้อมูลเครื่องหายต้องลงใหม่ 3 รอบแล้วค่ะ ควรปรับปรุงอย่างยิ่ง
No network connection. So it’s useless.
Does Nothing. Except for putting your network at risk and wasting your free time on a weekend. I have a house full of smart devices that hum along like they are supposed to, but this Airdog x3 device /app is the dumbest. Refuses to join the 2.4g network or talk to my iPhone. Times out constantly as you try to 2nd guess the defective instructions. And worse it’s unsecured and keeps exposing your network password in the clear, as you try OVER and OVER again to establish a link.
My dealer even told me to avoid this half baked Airdog app, but I didn’t listen.
Until it’s overhauled completely and the manual is rewritten, I suggest you keep as far away from it as possible.

Excellent
It took 2 attempts, but that could be solved with some tweaks to the user manual.
Much quieter than the 2 Heppa purifiers we have been using. Uses the equivalent of one light bulb of electricity and no filters to buy and send to landfills.
The purifiers we have had since the pandemic have cost more in filters than the original purchase price.
