Best free wallet out there

This app is so under rated.
If you use the vault on an offline spare phone, you will have the best wallet ever without the need of buying any device (since you already have it).
Fees are higher here than on ledger for example but way cheaper than binance.
If you want low bitcoin fees, use Segwit.

Thanks for such an amazing app, keep up with the great work.

Debe mejorar tarifas

Se que han dejado claro que las tarifas de transacción las definen los mineros pero no es así. Tengo bitcoin guardado en otras billeteras al igual que en esta, y he intentado hacer un retiro con AirGap y los costos de transacción son exagerados (280usd) mientras que en otra billetera mismo día, misma hora, salía en 70usd. La verdad no le encuentro explicación a esto. La aplicación me parece excelente por lo que ofrece pero los satoshis/ byte no coinciden en nada de las tarifas de la red que están definidas en cierto momento. La encuentro muy segura y me gusta mucho su manera de firmar transacciones, confiaría en esta billetera al 100% pero La usaría más y tendría todos mis fondos en ella si no fuera por esas tarifas tan extremadamente altas.
Actualización: acabo de retirar unos satoshis de AirGap wallet y la tarifa fue de 12usd. Traslade también otros satoshis de otra diferente a AirGap hacia otro wallet y el costo fue de 5usd, compruebo que los costos son un poco más del doble.

I like it but…

It takes a while to show my balance in dollars. Sometimes i have to close the app and reopen in order to fix it. I really like this wallet but my concern is that nothing in life is free so how do you guys earn revenue for working on this wallet ? What is your incentive for creating software that protects user funds ?

Hi. The balance loading issues should be improved in the next version. As for the revenue model, we have the AirGap Store with SeedPlates and AirGap Knox, as well as other income streams. Feel free to reach out to us Telegram or Discord if you want to know more.

I’ve not been able to use my app

I don’t give bad reviews but I think you need to work on the app that crashes every seconds not even minutes 😭😭 I need you reply on how to fix this.

UI

UI is far more frustrating to use than other web3 wallets. I’ve been trying to sync two accounts and finding the QR code for my account feels impossible.

FAQ doesn’t feature answers to any questions I have either.

Where is the QR code for my account?
How to access the 12 word recovery phrase again? (I’ve since found)

Only benefit is that I can upload NFTs on Objkt via my phone. Which is actually very cool.

Hi, sorry to hear you were having issues. Please reach out to us on Telegram, Discord or via email so we can get some more feedback and address your concerns. The "sync" QR code is located in AirGap Vault after you open the account and click "Sync" at the bottom. This seems to be a bit confusing because users often try to scan the account QR instead, which doesn't work. For this reason we will change this behaviour in the next release and make the flow more straight forward. Please let us know which questions you had that were not answered in the FAQ so we can add them.

Cannot send or exchange crypto

I cannot exchange or trade my ETH at all. I have reached out the the team via discord but I haven’t gotten a response.

Have deleted the app, imported the wallet as new. Nothing works. My ETH is current stuck in limbo on this wallet.

This wallet needs a lot of work.

I can not send, or exchange

I am so frustrated I can not convert my AE . I can not send it to be converted. I followed all the directions. It does not recognize I added my other coins. This wallet needs a lot of work and I NEED ACCESS TO MY MONEY
