This is very similar to the biplanes game from Intellivision's Triple Action. Loved that game, which is why I bought this one and this one is cool too. Wish there were more members so i could duel. That is the real fun of the game. Also the hard version against the computer is not so fun cause the blowing up is just too fast. When you play against a person they are sporting about letting each other get air. And Intellivision only gave you 2 short range shots at once. This gives 3 long range which makes it easier. Thanks for making this. I've wanted to play more of this since like 1988.

Ok game, but...
It should be cheaper and also the black boarders on the left and right sides are annoying on the iPod touch 5th gen.

I can understand the complaints from the generation that never played and loved pong.
But this game is a great imitation of a game that I absolutely loved when computers were new.

Just as I remember it on the intellivision! Come to think of it, this game would work perfectly on an iPod! Great Work Developer! Will buy a copy for my dad tonight!
Fun
This is a decent app that is pretty fun. I just wish that there was more to it, such a campaign mode and online play. Also, when you shoot, the bullets should be weaker and more realistic, where you have to lead your target with fire. It is definitely the best vertical-orientated airplane game on the AppStore, with a great physics engine.

Rip-off by the developers
This game is NOT GOOD, DON'T BUY IT. Got it when it was free but was still charged 99c for it. If the purchase justified the price, I would not feel so angry. Shame on the developers and the company.. spend more time on writing better codes instead!!!

I downloaded this and played the practice part on all settings.
Easy: way too easy as enemy does not return fire.
Medium: sometimes returns fire still fairly easy
Hard: impossible to play. Enemy just wipes u out straight away.
Bluetooth: impossible to use as connected to another iPhone and was completely jerky was not smooth at all... So completely impossible to play on bluetooth. A little wast of time to be honest.

Oh My God how long have I waited for this classic. Used to play biplanes on Amiga and loved it been looking incase it got potted over then thanks to freeappallert I got this great game free
AWESOME. ADDICTIVE AND FUNNY TO PLAY BUT COULD HAVE A FEW TWEAKS HERE AND THERE.
This is a great little 59p game to own your ipod touch.

maybe include more planes or plane colour variety or even different planes that
you can choose in the menu or settings.
also, the game sometimes glitches during bluetooth matches but it
could either be a bug or the connection from a 2nd gen to a 3rd gen ipod touch.

Most addictive Intellivision Game
Biplanes (part of Triple Action) was the most addictive game from the Intellivision gaming system from the early 80s. This game is VERY simple yet lots of fun. It's a throwback to a simpler time in video games.

Awesome quality version of prob best 2 player game ever!
Quality version of the Intellivision classic. Sublime controls coupled with simple yet highly addictive gameplay means this should be a classic. Single player a bit pointless (but good for getting used to controls) but I *promise* you will not find a better 2 player game on a mobile system. Bluetooth works a treat no lag - everyone should own this. 5 big stars.
