Disappointment
After 22 years in the USAF, this is the saddest sounding C130 sound simulation that I have heard. Instead of one lone continuous engine sound, the sound is interrupted and it starts over about every 10 seconds.

There needs to be a picture or short moving video along with the sound. Then I think more people would purchase the app.

As it says in the description, it only plays 13 sounds of planes and just plane motors and what it sounds like from the inside of the plane. There are no FX like pull up or fasten seat belts

I love this app. Hard to find such good airplane sounds on the iPhone, especially with looping like this!

Good app but could be better
Sound quality is terrible and only 12 sound. Check out "airplane and car sounds" this one has much better sounds and pictures over 50 sounds!!!

Potential, but not there yet
Just downloaded this app and to be honest, I was disappointed. The sound quality isn't great and the clips are quite short, lasting just a few seconds. The C-130 for instance last only 1-2 seconds.
This app could be so much more, it would be nice to have some full power take offs, some afterburner take offs. High speed and low speed flyovers and any number of other manoeuvres. The military stuffs great, but what about some airliner take offs, 747 at full power is nice. Also helicopter and vintage stuff, spitfire, mustang etc. What about some sci-fi stuff, star wars, etc.
These are just a few things I've come up with in a couple of minutes. It would also be nice to have some still images of the aircraft to go with the sounds.
At the minute, even at 59p this app is a bit disappointing. Hopefully future updates will change that.
