Necessary and stable

Looks like this app is old… Well my AirServer app in Windows simply stopped registering as a mirror source in my iPad (iOS 26). This app works great… initial drawback is that every time your iPad goes to sleep, you have to re-barcode each time. I got around that by ditching auto sleep. But that knocks off a star although you get used to it pretty quickly. I hate being married to the front of the classroom so this is a no-brainer.

Only audio working. No video

Seems like this app is outdated and broken since 2020.

很方便

很好用,方便!

Perfect for iPad lectures. This has changed how I teach!

I’ve tried all kinds of setups for projecting my iPad in the classroom. The classroom computers are locked down with lots of restrictions on how I can use technology. It would take me too long to explain the contortions and adapters I’ve been using to teach the way i want to. Now that I have AirServer and this app, I can mirror my iPad screen onto a Windows computer effortlessly. Even though my classroom computer and iPad are in different subnets, this QR code reader gets me connected without being wired to Ethernet anymore. When I use AirPlay my presentation app hides all the controls so the students see just what I want them to see. Mirroring solutions other than AirPlay broadcast the controls and my hidden notes. This app is a game-changer for me! This is what this was made for and it does it perfectly!

Goes black when watching movies

Needed something to airplay over public WiFi but when I try to watch a purchased film it just goes block and stops working. Terrible app

Absolute garbage.

Inserts trash. Lots of trash.

Scam

Doesn’t work for stupid people. Maybe if you’re a software engineer you can reprogram it to work.
Waste of time. Don’t waste your money.

doesn’t work

have to scan the QR every single time. big time drain

Does what it’s supposed to do!

I…honestly don’t understand the negative reviews here 🤷🏻‍♀️.

You download the Mac app, then you download this app. Make sure that both of your devices are on the same network, then open up the QR code on the Mac app. Scan that QR code on your iPhone/iOS device, using this app.

Go to Screen Mirroring on your iPhone/iOS device. Choose your Mac. It’s ridiculously easy, and this app works EXACTLY as it’s supposed to.

I’m thinking that all of these negative reviews are from people who just don’t know how to operate their devices…

Does what it says it does

Period.

Not airplay 2 compatible

App is not compatible with most recent airplay 2 features. You cannot cast various Apple apps as a result.

It’s doesn’t work.

After scan qr, you don’t see any next steps, no device list or any other options to connect for device.

iPhone 11

When you get to the “swipe from the edge of the screen” part of the process you can’t do it with the iPhone 11 because of the fact that swiping up from the edge of the screen is how we close out apps and go to the home page.

can't control iphone from PC

false advertising

Getting it to work

Once you get it connected it is great! I downloaded this to listen to Apple Music on my Xbox one. I scanned the wrong on my phone and would connect but kept getting an error message. I turned my Bluetooth off and restarted and got the same message. But then I opened the control center on my IPhone and clicked the air play icon by my music and had to wait a few seconds then my Xbox became available to connect to airplay. That’s it! Loving it so far 👌

Rubbish

1 star is too high, this is a scam.

It’s okay but needs some work

I used the free trial, enjoyed it and bought it. But when I try to livestream from the Apple Music app, currently the Kanye event, but also Verzuz and things like that, it doesn’t do anything except display the app logo

Want something that’s reliable? Look elsewhere

Never works when you need it to. Always has issues. Something that should be so simple is incredibly frustrating and can’t be relied on.

Great companion app

Great companion app to great Mac software, but why is this categorized under “Education” on the App Store?

Where is the QR Code?

I downloaded this app hoping to be able to connect my iPhone to Chromebook. I downloaded this app on both devices. I can find the scan QR code button on my phone but I can’t find the QR code on my Chromebook. This problem defeats the purpose so unless I can find the QR code, this app is pointless.
