Airstep Kat EX successful update
Review for this app specifically:
I followed the step by step instructions in app to update the Bluetooth Firmware successfully.

I was instructed in-app to also update the firmware via USB. Unfortunately the USB to computer firmware update using the “AIRSTEP KatEX USB Updater” software was a different experience - I was in the end able to update, however: the update software did NOT work on my MacOS (M1 MacBook Air on latest OS) in that update mode did not trigger/enable the Update button option on the computer software. I was able to update without fuss via Windows PC. Noting here that in addition to the Updater software, the Windows download zip contained a driver for Airstep that the MacOS download zip didn’t include.

Works, but no info on firmware version
Worked quick and easy for the airstep YT, but the app didn't tell me what the firmware version was, before or after updating. It installed something, so I assume the device is up to date.
It worked… eventually.
It took multiple attempts to update the firmware. I had to restart the app and the Airstep several times before the firmware updated. However it worked eventually.
Not working with Airstep SPK
I can select the three parameters but the start update button is not displayed and the app is frozen.
Works for Airstep Kat
Worked as advertised for me. Bought the Airstep Kat for my Katana 50, connected to the app via Bluetooth per the directions that were provided with the pedal, updated to 1.4 (current version) with zero issues. The low ratings had me worried. Maybe some other pedal versions had issues. I’m giving a 5 for my experience.
