Just bought the ADJ stinger 2 and installed this app. It’s completely useless, crashes immediately, won’t even open.

Seriously ADJ what are you doing releasing apps this flaky? I have tried this app direct via the headphone socket on an IPad Pro 10.5 and via the lightning adapter on an IPhone 7. It doesn’t work on either with my UB12h bars.

App would instantly crash on my iPhone, I downloaded to my iPad and could get the app to open but would not control the ADJ Boombox FX2 fixture I bought that came with the included IR headphone jack sensor. I cannot believe they would put this out without more testing.

Such a shame. It won't work on an iPhone X or an iPad, such a shame :( The light works fine but unless it's on Auto you'll need to spend the money on a program :(
Actually does work...kinda
I am using an iPhone6 Plus with recent iOS update and lightning plug in to 3.5 mm adapter to plug IR diode into (instead of headphone jack). Per the instructions for my Boom Box FX1 UC IR/Airstream Control some of the features do not work with the Boom Box FX1, (could be an issue if you are expecting those features to work). The ones that I did get to work include Stand by, full on, show, sound on and off, usually. There can be a delay of a few seconds between the time you select an option and when the light responds, it isn’t for the impatient. The IR diode and the app were free, the overall performance is just above what I would expect for the price. Is it worth what I paid for it, yes. Who would I recommend it for? Anyone with lots of patience and operating on a shoestring budget. For everyone else, try the UC IR Wireless Remote.

Does not do anything
I bought the ir remote and it doesn't do anything. So I downloaded the app, the app doesn't do anything. But Chauvet only from now on.

App simply doesn’t work, no instructions about how to pair or connect to your fixture, love my ADJ fixtures but the ADJ UC IR is too basic and only seems to work half the time so I had high hopes for this app but I can’t recommend it. I’m uninstalling it.
Not working iPhone 8+
Tried this app with my iPhone 8+ and doesn’t work. Maybe it’s the lighting connector you now get for headphones, that’s the problem. Used on iPad 2 with no issues.
