How do I connect
Five well deserved stars!
Wants my location services?
Either way I’ll be uninstalling the app.
Response from developer
Sorry for the misunderstanding. As stated in the App’s description it asks for your location to display your GPS speed / course and magnetic heading on the PFD and plot your position on the navigation display, give you nearest airports and waypoints, and so on, thus simulating a real plane with real environment measures. You don’t have to allow access to location services for it to work though and you can of course use it with a flight simulator and the corresponding plugin as it is intended. It is more of a fun to have extra add-on which we expect 99% of our users would welcome rather than consider a fault, and it’s totally optional.

Best add on app for fsx
Awesome flight sim app - but stopped working Prepar3d v4.3
Response from developer
Even though Prepar3D has never been an officially supported simulator, it did indeed work with the FSX plugin which was 32 bits. You'll be pleased to know that we've just released a 64 bit version of the FSX plugin so you'll be able to use it again with v4 and above. Please see the downloads section of AirTrack in the web site for the updated gauge file. Fun flights!

Don't look at the cost and just buy this most essential companion app to your flight simulator.

The best flightsim app
This converts the iPad into a multi-use glass cockpit display. You get display options including the primary instruments, navigation display, Flight plan.
It also has a radio/nav display that is simply brilliant for changing those radio, nav, or transponder values. It takes me 3 or 4 seconds to change a nav or commas frequency with this - simply superb.
It also has a similar page for autopilot - and is just as quick to enter headings, heights, and so on.
This is an expensive app, but it works better than other instrument type apps I have tried. As well as the primary instrument and nav display - you could also use this to do the job, or replace the Saitek Radio panel, and the most of the functions of the Saitek multi panel. In most respect this is quicker and easier to use than those panels. So £25 is expensive, but to be fair there is a lot involved in this app.
There is no lag that I see, and it so functional and offers something for every type of flying. Other apps offer a lot of this stuff in separate apps, that have to be switched over to operate. This has all those features in one seamless unit that switches using sofkeys at the bottom and side of the display - just like a MFD display in a real aircraft.
There are other features I have not even mentioned. You could also display charts, flight plans, and operate your flight remotely with this app - but for me it's a really great glass cockpit display. It really makes the iPad an important part of your FSX or Xplane setup
