Terrible trading experiance
While I love the content itself the interface is a disgrace. Everything is controlled by pressing buttons rather than using tablet gestures to zoom or move from page to page. Its feels like a program from 10 years ago. You can’t bookmark and the only way to advance to a specific part of a book is by selecting the page number, so you have to scroll page by page to find a section you’re interested in, that’s a pain for a book with nearly 200 pages. AK you need to sort this out, in this day and age this app is just not up to scratch.

Abandoned?
Unable to find the print version of a book I wanted, I opted for the digital copy via this app. The content loads OK so that’s something but if I try to even see the price of any of their other titles, the app just crashes. It’s been awhile since it was updated so it may be abandoned.
No iPhone to iPad connection
Bought a book on my phones app. Tried sending it to my iPad. “Restoring purchases” didn’t resolve the issue. Now I’m stuck reading on my tiny phone

Can’t Even Purchase Anything
I can’t even buy the book I’m attempting to purchase. The app crashes as soon as I try to buy it.

This app just does not work. I purchase AK products and they are great but an app like this. I can’t get my books from the library or even purchase new ones. It’s just gets worse and worse. Surely they have a development team in a basement who can fix it

Really poorly optimised.
The content is the same price as buying a paper copy but the app isn’t remotely optimised for the publications. None of the pages fit the screen properly and some are incorrectly oriented (Portrait when it should be landscape etc). For this to be the digital bookstore of a big name such as AK is just embarrassing and shows how little they care about what they sell their customers. More bugs appear once you purchase things with many purchases going missing, just check the other feedback.

Wish I could download my purchases to Apple Books app
The books are fantastic, but the PDF reader isn’t the best. Makes it hard to scroll through the book as it is very slow and seems to be lower quality images. Wish we were able to download it into the books app for easier viewing.
Latest app/update is TERRIBLE
I had the original app for over two years and it worked very well. But the latest update from about 7 months ago BLOWS. I am
missing both free and paid content, LOUSY app support/customer service (zero communication) and prices are not given until you click the ‘Purchase’ button. Plus the new layout had to be designed by a crackhead. Utterly disappointing…if I could give no stars I would.

Avoid investing any money into this app
I really loved the previous version of the app, and had started using it to build my library in place of print books. But the updated version in early 2023 has totally ruined all that was good about it for me, and I wish I could refund my purchases now.
I tried to politely get into contact via email to seek help, remedies, or info on future fixes. This was over 8 months ago, and despite receiving an automated confirmation of my email receipt and a promise to respond, I've not received any reply to this date at all. The app hasn't been improved in this time either. So I get the feeling we've been left for dead.
Things which did work previously but are now missing / ruined are:
- I can no longer read my books offline. Which was the main reason I bought my books through this app.
- Pricing of books is now hidden, and only shown when you choose to buy one. No more easy browsing like the previous app.
- Reader interface is no longer like a normal ebook reader, you use buttons to go left and right and to zoom in and out, just like an old web based brochure viewer or photo gallery from the 90s.
- The touch gestures and fine panning and zooming are no longer present.
- Buttons are also persistently over the top and edges of your pages, so there's no clean page views when reading anymore.
- The ability to bookmark pages for quick reference, and an ability to quickly jump to specific pages and topics are now gone. (There's also no search feature either, but this wasn't something that was present in the old app version either).

The worst magazine app ever.
AK used to have a decent magazine app but since releasing this pile of steaming garbage its by far the worst app ever.
No access when offline so i cant accessany of my releases when in aircraft etc just when i really want to.
A disastrous PDF viewer with no multi page support or easy zoom etc.
Im not sure who approved this app but a roll back would be the minimum as right now its just the worst magazine app I've been forced to use. If it was my choice id refund ALL my online AK products asright now in its current form this app is useless and an impediment to being able to use any of my numerous purchases.

the app gets more awful with every iteration
I am a big AK fan but digital is not their core competency. if only they showed the same care and consideration for their app as they do their models, products and videos. I deeply…DEEPLY…regret buying their Air FAQ as a digital product as rarely accessing via their increasingly poor app works. i have spent quite a large amount of money on a ebook I cannot access because the app is so poorly executed. It crashes, there is no easy way to navigate around the pages. Quite frankly AK should be ashamed to release a app of such poor quality. If there was a rating lower than 1 star i would give it. I wish i could get my money back for the FAQ book but it has been too long waiting for AK to build a useable app. So now all I can do is complain and hope it is fixed to enjoy the reference book i paid a lot of money for.

Do not upgrade!!!!!!!!!!
There seems to be no way of restoring past purchases. Stay with the old one until it’s fixed….maybe Ok I’ve managed to restore past purchases but not all of them are supported in the new app for example Elements in Combat volume 1 has gone missing. On the positive side the interface is better and I can now play the DVD’s I purchased- a feature that “disappeared” after a new version of IOS was introduced.
Update……A new feature that is not made clear appears to be that you can only load books etc that you have purchased onto one device I.e iPad or iPhone - not both I’m sure there must be other user hostile trip wires hidden in there!

Program crashes
Be careful of this program, i have three FAQ books all over 450 pages long and I can’t get passed a third of each book since their update, it just crashes and takes me to the beginning of the book and keeps on repeating. I have contacted their support and customer services and still have not had a reply. I can’t even get a refund now, what a waste of money. Just be aware when buying their books.

Waste of Money
I’ve spent quite a bit of money on magazines and books. It was always a slow app but since the “upgrade” none of them will load and all of the previous downloads were erased. AK seems uninterested in fixing it. I’m just going to request a refund for all of the material. If I could give zero stars I would.

Keeps locking up and crashing
I purchased a book through the app, but I can’t read it because the app keeps locking up. I have to close the app and start again on page one, only for the app to lock up in another place.
I am normally happy with AK Interactive products, but this app is unusable. Please address this so I can read my book.

Great content - problematic pdf reader
Great content and have purchased many publications. However I am not a fan of the new pdf reader. The reader requires the ability to jump to pages / chapters easily as opposed to having to scroll thru the book. For example when using the FAQ book. Also, on large pdf, scrolling thru causes the pdf to hang and reset back to the first page or lock up the app. Please address
