Love yellow cab
I love yellow cab just don't like that they did away with Pay by phone and that Apple Pay only works if you have a non chipped card
Avoid if at all possible
I was excited to try this app. I figured it'd cut down on the awkwardness since I'd be avoiding the (always unpleasant) phone conversations with the dispatchers. Boy, was I wrong.
So I scheduled the cab for a certain time on the app, and since my building is weird to find, I posted specific instructions to pick me up on the street next to my apartment. But the driver shows up almost 10 minutes early, and I miss the call because I'm still getting ready. When I see that, I assume he's there, and head out. I don't see him on the street though, and then I get another call from him. I ask where he is, and he insists he's in my driveway. He isn't, and I gently point out this is why I asked him to pick me up on a different street, because google won't take you to the right place. He begins angrily declaring that this is my fault for not picking up the phone the first time (10 mins before my scheduled pickup) and says that he's been repeatedly driving around the block with no idea where to go (despite my note saying exactly where to go).
Arguably I should have just bailed at this point but I didn't want to be late so I walk around the block until I find him, at which point he insists I sit in the front seat next to him. The next 15 minutes en route to my destination are the most awkward of my life as he continues to harass me for not answering the first time, for "making him drive around", and for using the app at all, which according to this EMPLOYEE OF YELLOW CAB is "awful" and "barely works". Naturally, when we show up at my destination I decide not to tip (fear for my life was not enough of a motivator this time) and when he sees this he angrily throws my receipt while I get out of that cab as fast as I can.
In summation, don't use this app, don't use yellow cab, make sober friends who drive and pray hard for Alaskan Uber.

Great but..
Needs to update their software. Not many options for their bookings and to cancel or whatnot. Just booked a cab and found Checker Cab outside, even though it said a yellow cab was outside and was prompting me to pay. I love Yellow Cab over Checker, but if their software is lying to me then I guess I'll just catch whatever cab is out there...

Tried to add credit card.
It either freezes or closes the app. Really wish Anchorage would have allowed uBer in. Their app and service is amazing!!
CAB CRASH
Can't add a credit card. App crashes every time. Would be awesome if it worked as well as Uber!!

Worked Perfect
Downloaded and used this app immediately. I didn't need to enter my credit card to get it to work either. Booked and confirmed via the app.
I received a notification when a cab accepted my run and when it got to my house, plus I got a robo call when the cab arrived.
Seems to be a great app and will use it again I'm sure.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE
Downloaded the Yellow cab app entered my name and phone number and set up my credit card details , once you do this Ordering a yellow cab will be so easy it takes about 20 seconds to place cab request , at the end point when driver shuts off taximeter i touch pay on the app and put in the amount on taximeter , it's that easy the driver is paid through my credit card on app no signature needed to sign a slip , I get emailed a reciept immediately with all details ,

Do NOT Download!
If you don't add your credit card - the app will close automatically. You try opening the app - it will crash your phone.
Needs Work
Crashes constantly when I try to add credit card using iOS 8.1.1. Then it's unresponsive. Poor layout and hideous design is ok if it works. But it doesn't. Nice concept though.
Works, but...
It is hard to review this app and not review yellow cabs service. However I am going to try. App does work but I had an issue with the app alerting me the cab had arrived and it was still five minutes away. The layout and finish of the app leaves something to be desired but it did work.
Does not work
I have entered my info and erased and reloaded the app a few times and it still will not save my information and keeps freezing. NEEDS WORK!
