Crazy effect

The people who said that useless don’t have good ear because me I noticed big changes with the equaliser and the customisation is crazy good

Sometimes it works…

When it works it’s great but often the most useful options are just not available, app seems to try and fail to communicate with buds.

I use AKG tech in my job and the brand used to be a sign of quality. This is not the case here.

Buds sound great but so do many others.

App sucks for n60

N60 headphones are still working great!! Too bad the app still doesn’t recognize them so that sucks. So what other app can we use with the n60?

N5 issue

Great sound. Own twenty earphones - yep. At arguably the top - great soundstage - almost beats DenonPerl Pro. Not top of the class NC but above average, disappointing big is it forgets my default setting half the time for NC requiring me to reinsert and take out the buds 😡very very out of all of them irritating -the most irritating bug…

Great hardware bad software

It’s incredible how in 2025 we are inhibited from mapping the controls on either earbud how we would want. You would think you can control ANC and playback on one ear bud if both are not in use but it’s simply impossible

Plenty of features

Not many new reviews on this and it looks like a lot has changed, this seems like a decent app with good features. Probably use it a few times then leave the settings alone

Really only two models!

I own the N60 headphones. Great headphones, too bad AKG fails to support these with an app!

Hardware

Das was AKG hier zusammengestellt hat, ist aller Ehren wert. App hat viele Funktionen und Einstellmöglichkeiten, auch die Kopfhörer sind in der Musikwiedergabe angenehm anpassbar.
Top!

Cannot connect via app

Something must be wrong with the current version of the app, normally these work fine. But the current app doesn’t connect and it’s an issue both for IOS and Android. Manual connect won’t work either no matter what trouble shooting process I try per the manual.

Max volume is now decreased significantly:(

The power that the AKG N400NC can deliver is the only reason I still use these headphones. Now, with this latest app update, the maximum volume has decreased significantly. Please revert back to those changes, as now these headphones have become just regular cheap headphones rather than being AKG. Please revert back to how the sound reacted to the EQ in previous version. Once more, the impressive maximum volume these headphones delivered with the previous version of the app is the only reason I still used them, despite all the other issues the app and headphones have. Now, I literally have no reason left to use this app and thus these earbuds. At least provide some optional setting that would allow for truly maximum volume output, if you don't want to make it the default.

Max spl has dropped significantly

The latest update has decreased the max spl significantly. I’ve changed nothing in the phone settings. The old version was much better. It also takes longer to connect the headphones to the app.

Huge Missed Opportunity

The AKG K371-BT are some of the best tuned (to the Harman target) closed-back headphones you can get not just for $150 but period. However, the Bluetooth model doesn’t seem to be compatible with this app. This is really sad because these are so good. I plan to mostly use these with the XLR port instead anyway, though.

Fix your app

Earbuds I got are great. The app is not though. I’ve been having issues getting the application to recognize the earbuds. Even when my phone is connected to them, the app doesn’t recognize them.

Y600NC

This app do not connect with my Y600NC most of the time, and when it does there don’t seem to have much functions. When the it does there is not much function: Smart Ambient, smart start/stop function, auto off and an equalizer.

Disappointingly Buggy

The app is good when it works. However, 90% of the time it is not connected to my Y600 headphones. It will eventually connect, but usually after an hour or more. In contrast, the app for my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones connects instantly and stays connected. I hope Harmon will fix this problem soon. Even deleting and reinstalling the app does not resolve the problem.

Great Headphones!

These 600nc headphones are awesome! Sound great for my iPhone 12. Comfortable and easy to use. The app eq works great.

Fails to connect to NC 700 headphones on iPad Pro

Headphones working fine and connected via Bluetooth with no issues but the App fails to find them. I guess AKG app support doesn’t get much love now Samsung own them.

The headphones are still great though and sound better than Bose or Sony options.

Annoying gestures can’t be customized or disabled

The built in gestures are really annoying and this app doesn’t let you customize the actions or disable them.

Just forget it

This App supports only a few models of headphones but not support middle range headphones, agk 361 bt for instance

Can Again Detect Earbuds iOS 16

My N400nc earbuds connect just fine to my iPhone. For a little while, there, this app couldn’t detect them. This got fixed! I don’t have to switch my headphones to my iPad to program them anymore! I can change the equalizer in real time again! Life is sweet. At least, this particular bit of it is.

It could be better, of course. The equalizer is a bit hard to use with precision. Devs, if you are reading this, adding an interface to the graphical parametric equalizer that has actual boxes with numbers to allow for precision into the app will earn you another star.
