Works great
Overall a great app, works well for finding and placing holds on books, as well as for looking at library events going on. Do wish you could save books for later though and that you could look at similar titles for books when you click on them, like you can on the website
Search function terrible
This new app looks nice but is not very functional. The account function works well—I can see my holds, checkouts, etc in almost real time. But the search function is terrible. I could type in the exact title of a book and it will take forever to find and possibly tell me there are no results. Same for searching authors.

Considering how few of people seem to use this app, I think it works great. It updates right away when you place something on hold, check something out or turn something in. I love how it shows the specifics of where each copy of a book is, including when the return date will be. I do wish it had a feature that shows related books (for series) instead of having to search each one individually. But regardless, if you use the library often, I think this app is great!

Moving backward
Previous versions had ‘New and Notable’ on the home page of the app. This allowed you to easily see what new books were available. With the update this is no longer there and has been replaced with a section called events and Emagazines. Nothing against events but I go to the library for books, not magazines or special events. Needs to be restored.

I love the convenience and ease of the library app. The fact that I can look up and select books while I am running other errands is a time saver. Let’s face it we all could use a little more time.

Needs a Feature to Mark Books You Want to Read
I wish there was an option to star books you want to read but are not yet ready to borrow. That way you could have a running booklist of books you want to check out and read (and not forget the titles!).

This app for the library desperately needs to be updated to work more smoothly…….Constantly have to restart my phone for it to work properly

Unfortunately unable use. Never able to search let alone reserve books. This is a fairly large library system.. I hope the app improves
Not useful
Won’t let me log in. I have no problem doing it on the website from my browser. Not very useful if I can’t even access my account and card
Downgrade from previous version
The new version is quite a downgrade from the old version. Not nearly as many functions. Two specific items that were in the old one but not the new one are the ability to change the font size and the ability to see when a held book needs to be picked up.

Search function hard to use
The search function is extremely finicky. For example, on the website if I search “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” I get all options and the ability to place a hold or request on any type of media. However if I look up the same thing on the app, I get no matches. I only get results if I type in “Goblet of Fire.” Additionally, if an e-book is unavailable it is not immediately clear how I can place that item on hold. I am still not sure how to do it, but I am sure there must be a way. I find the entire process frustrating and prefer to use the website instead.

Log In issues
The app constantly requires you to login. Not useful if you’re using the app for access to your library card.
Not happy with having to log in every time I open
I use the app so that I don't have to have my card with me. But every time I open the app it makes me enter my card number/username and pin! Please fix this!
