Was working okay til some update. Ugh!!
Waste of time
The app crashes every time I open it. Finally got to the "locate dmv" without a crash, and it gave me information I already knew. Deleted the app after 5 minutes
Crashes when clicking Personalize tag...every time
App stinks. Just downloaded & tried several times clicking on Personalize tag. 5 of 5 times the app crashed. Going to delete. 0 stars. Please fix.
Alabama MVD
This app worked ok but has since gone on the fritz and has had constant failures. The problems I've had have been with the personalized tag section. When selecting Personalized Tag, it kicks you out of the app. I've tried rebooting and reloading with no change. I've tried it on different devices with the same results. Everything works correctly if you go to the actual web site.

updates?
When will this app be updated with new tag designs? Many tags displayed are old styles. Also, the app will say a tag is available, but when linked to the website you're then confronted with an alert that says a tag ISN'T available.
DOESN'T WORK!!! 👎👎👎
This app hasn't worked in a year or more but there appears to be little concern from the AL DOT. Regardless of what combination of characters I input to check for availability for a personalized tag it always says every choice is available when I know they're not based on the website check. This has to be causing drivers big headaches when they find out weeks later that the personalized tag they've been waiting so long for isn't even available!!! Sad, sad, sad!!!

A good start
This app does allow the user to visualize how a particular specimen of one of Alabama's numerous license plates would appear and to locate the closest motor-vehicle-licensing agency. One star has been deducted because of the absence of certain tag varieties (e.g., amateur radio) and the broken app page for "forms". These issues will presumably be addressed in a later version.

Still shows tags available that are not available
Upgraded app still says that some personalized tags are available that are not available when you try to reserve them. Some plates STILL show incorrect availability.
Amateur Radio tag
Neat app...appears to be missing the amateur radio operator tag, which can be obtained with one's FCC issued callsign.

Information not accurate
I always personalize my tag on the official DMV website and I thought it would be nice to use the app. It searched the data base and and said the name I entered was available......wow I was so happy until I went further and pressed to order and it took me to the official DMV website and when I checked the same name the app tells me is available, it's actually not available. I went back and checked it again and same thing, app has it available when it isn't actually available. Huge disappointment and waste of my time. I would give it 5 stars if the information was accurate.

Very convenient. Last time I went to the tag office to get my personalized it took almost an hour to find something available. Now I can check using this app before I even leave the house. Great work CAPS!
