New app bugs
You can’t set the lake level notification nor can you see the future historical and operational lake levels. Thus it’s difficult to plan when your boat needs to be pulled from the lift/water and when to shut off water pumps depending on tge lake being at certain levels.
Inconsistent and poor dam water level updates
Water level and dam water release info on smaller dams are inaccurately posted and are not updated.

Broken!
Nothing but a blank screen with an Alabama Power logo. Deleted and redownloaded, same thing. I guess I could use if for a flashlight but it would be a dim one. Used to be a useful app to know when generators were going to run.
Needs serious improvement
Couldn’t access it because their cloud flare service blocked my home IP! How else am I supposed to use their app? The only way I figured out their app was not total trash was the error I got when I tried to send a contact and was blocked. That’s very poor app design. When I do turn off Wi-Fi and use my cell service, useful information like elevation history or past generator status is not there. At the absolute minimum, I should have a histogram of lake elevation with the current elevation listed. This app needs a serious overhaul, not that they’ll address any of the bugs or features in the fairly useless descriptions in their app updates.

This app is not at all what it is supposed to be
People download this app for fishing info. No one cares how many lightbulbs the lake is powering or how much water is going through the turbines at any second. There are next to zero “spillway nerds,” and “lightbulb nerds.” Cater to the fishermen and your app will go a lot farther and get better results. No one wants to see the nearest mobile home park, or nearest subway/Taco Bell to the lake. People DO want to see things like: 1) water depth, (find water maps of the lake, upload data into app so we can see where holes and outcroppings are to fish off of. 2) hot fishing locations (allow fisherman to upload their own fish catches to the app and tag where on the lake they caught it, what species it is, and add pictures/comments. 3)show whether the lake is stocked or not. (Whether or not a lake is stocked has a big impact on the fishery, find out which lakes are stocked with what species of fish, and who does the stocking, and upload that data into the app.

Will not load…
This app will not load. Goes immediately back to Home Screen. Same issue with both iPhone X and iPad Pro running beta 14.5

Only works half the time
I downloaded this app because I thought it would be easier than looking up apcshorelines website to see generation schedules. I should have just went by everyone else’s reviews. This app never works right.

Create account
Would like to use app, but can’t create account. Will not accept password and tried many times. One would think the developers would fix the issue. I contacted app support and no response... 🤬.
Smart Lakes not very smart
I would give this app zero stars if I could. During a flood event there was NO information on this app about lake levels until too late and no information about drawdown plans so residents can determine their actions. Managed just like AP manages the lake level.
Old was muck better
Old app was much better. Can not change lakes to monitor levels and generation flows. Only good for one lake.
Needs Work
“News” feature typically crashes, making it useless. Login requirement is a ridiculous nuisance. There is absolutely no personal information on this app to necessitate password protection.
Incomplete
Was looking forward to using but doesn’t have all the AL AL/GA owned lakes.
Need lake level notifications!
App works fine for checking Smith Lake pool levels but it would be great if you could set phone alerts if the pool levels moved from point A to B. Please add this feature. It will improve the app drastically!!!
