Can’t scan items
This app was great. Idk what happened but now you can’t scan items to see it they are wic approved.
Horrible does NOT make it on the go easy
I do not like this WIC at all and I VERY upset that I can’t use the generic WIC app I used while living in another state. You can’t do a calculator when scanning items so you make sure your within your allowed amount. I Do NOT like that I can’t automatically just see each item and the amount I have available for those items. This app needs big approvement or this state needs to be approved on the other Wic Shopper app. It was easier to use and understand benefits along with being able to scan items and do a calculator of the items.
Improve to make this easier for those of us that don’t keep receipts and need that available benefits visual aid when shopping WITHOUT need to go to another site and look it up. Otherwise what’s the point of this app.

It’s okay. Needs improvements.
While I like being able to view the items that qualify it’s frustrating when I try to scan an item & the app doesn’t work. I’m not sure if it’s a service issue or an app issue. Every time I go to the store & try to scan an item it never works. It used to so again I’m not sure what the issue is. If I can’t use it for what I need what’s the point in having it?
I always seem to get an error message or being told it isn’t supported. Whatever the case, I’d love for it to be fixed so we can use it properly. I love the feature of being able to scan, but currently for the past few months it’s been inaccessible.

Useless.
It’s crazy that you can read reviews from FOUR YEARS AGO saying the same exact thing I’m about to say. This app is useless. You cannot connect your eWIC account to be able to see your balance and the foods you have left that you can purchase. Pretty much every other state has an app that allows access to your balance & provides a list of foods you can buy according to that balance. I don’t understand how people have been complaining about this app for four years and yet nothing has changed still. It’s sad.

Horrible
Not one single person to help when you’re forced to change your pw , then locked out of your account afterwards. The ACTUAL WIC DEPARTMENT, DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH NOR DO THEY ENDORSE THE APP! They can’t help you with anything regarding the app. So good luck if anything goes wrong.

No customer service help
The app doesn’t have a customer service helpline, even though it gives you a number to call if you have issues with logging in or the site. It demands you remember your security question and answer (which most of us nowadays have more than one app/website we use go everyday life), or it locks you out of your account and YOU CAN NEVER GET BACK IN NOR CREAT A NEW ACCOUNT

Useless
Only helps to see what is approved by wic. Needs to update like every other state to see the benefits we get each month
Too many bugs
As a vendor we are supposed to be able to submit items for review as new items are listed. However most of the time that feature does not work correctly. Also the scan item feature doesn’t work properly the majority of the time. Needs work.
Agree with other reviewers
How on earth is this app useful without being able to check my WIC balance? No offense to the “developers” but this is useless. When I had the TN WIC app I could see my benefits on a list; which items I had already used up for the month and which items I could still purchase. This app offers resources like office phone numbers and if I were to need that I would Google it not open an app.

CANT open the app
I can’t even scan the items anymore , we have a account but it can’t be associated with the app so we can check our balance might as well not have it
Useless
Why would I use this app? I NEED a way to keep track of my balance and the suggestion to check my receipts...duh I do that but I am not going have a bunch of papers rolling around for a couple weeks. I’m a normal person, and the fact that 40 other states have figured out how to make that happen is disappointing Alabama!!

Can’t make account
Can’t even create an account because you need a lowercase letter in your username. But the app capitalizes every letter in your username when you click submit. Useless.

Idk what more we should expect when it’s Alabama. This app is utter useless garbage and the developer responses are no better. What a waste of space. Donald Trump has better usage for humanity than this app does.
Check balance?
Would love if you could check balance and it would show u what u have left so if you lose your list u have it on your app.. when is this gonna get updated this app is useless

What is the point in even making an app for e wic benefits if you aren’t going to let the consumer connect it to our actual e-wic accounts and allow us to check our balance easily from an app? This app is completely useless. Why do all the other states get apps that are actually helpful and we get stuck with this crap?

Pretty much useless.
The whole point of this app should’ve been to show my balances that are on the card at any given time. No matter the resources offered on this app, it’s useless if it doesn’t show me my balances and I still have to call the 1-800 number every time or go to the register before every shopping trip for a print out. Throw the whole app away. You had one main job to help the consumers and this app fails and offering random resources that have nothing to do with me using my actual benefit is annoying. Should have left the card access under the FIS Global website like other states in conjunction with the site that shows the food stamp balances. Complete trash!

Can’t check my balance
The primary reason I would use this app is to check my eWIC balance. It seems to have some ok features but it would be wonderful if it had a way to at least show what we are allotted each month. I was so excited to get the eWIC debit card but this makes me almost miss the paper vouchers.
Needs a bit of an instruction tutorial..
When I tried to save an appointment, it told me it saved, BUT I looked In the app to find where it saved to. It took a little bit to see that my appointments are actually saving to my calendar app. I love that I can go to the food list of what I can buy, helps on my forgetful days. Would love to be able to sign in to complete those lesson things, the nice workers in the health department keep wanting me to do! 😀 would make it easier since I don't have wifi anymore and am only on my iPhone.
