Good content, glitchy app
The information presented is interesting but the app doesn’t work so well. Sometimes it plays automatically, sometimes not. Sometimes it knows which direction I was walking or driving, sometimes not. Generally, I had to keep the app open and click on the points of interest to hear the content.

Thank you — this is genuinely useful feedback, and you were right that something was off. We went looking, and found that on certain routes the app was being far too cautious about which stop to trigger next, which is exactly why some points played on their own and others stayed quiet, and why it misjudged your direction of travel part of the time. We've tracked down the cause and the update is now available that makes GPS triggering more consistent and reliable. Really glad the content itself came through and that you found it interesting — stories and history of Alaska are what we are most excited to share and why the app exists, we are dedicated to making sure the experience around the audio matches that high quality.

This app added so much to our hikes! The audio was informative without being overwhelming, and it helped us appreciate the geology, wildlife, and scenery in a whole new way. The narration was easy to follow and felt like hiking with a knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend it to anyone exploring Alaska’s trails—it made every hike even more memorable.

Fantastic Juneau Tour
WOW! This app is fantastic! I appreciated the concise, but detailed history along with the clear narration of downtown Juneau. I enjoyed the story of the dead dog and how today’s Juneau is not what it once was. This app is very easy to use and I love that I do not have to use my cell service. There are also suggested hikes of all levels. This app would be great for someone who is getting off a cruise ship and has a limited amount of time to spend exploring downtown Juneau. If you had more time, the paid apps would be worth the purchase.

Great Guide for Juneau
I took the free tour of downtown Juneau and found it to be very informative, interesting and easy to use. For me the narration struck the right balance of concise and informative I especially loved the history of the Alaskan Hotel and the Red Dog Saloon. I am now looking forward to the Mendenhall Glacier tour!
