Ehh

Super short. Has the same feel as Limbo and Inside but not nearly as good. For having to pay for the game I expected it to be longer. Disappointed. Especially since they will probably make you pay for the “continuation” which is ridiculous.

Great game, controls need work

Love this game! Unfortunately, playing on the iPad, the levitate control is virtually the exact same as the shooting which means it’s basically a toss up on which one you’ll get. A lot of times in the game where you need to levitate very quickly or you die, and it’s super frustrating that you you can’t count on the controls to pass a level, even if you know exactly what to di

Really fun

I hope that you make a second game because I loved the first one 😀👍🤘

Crashes :( no more :)

I have played the game now and it is great :) Super good job on it and I apologise for the bad review I made before

Love this game

5 stars ✨

Great update, love the new art and finally I was able to complete the game. It took some time but thanks to the creators. Would recommend 8/10

Thank you for the support!

Thank you, for the update!

Hopefully part 2 will be coming out soon as well

Great game in the style of limbo... but

This is an expertly crafted game in the style of Limbo (by Playdead). The challenges/puzzles are well thought out, the visuals are smooth and spot on, and it's generally really fun to play! Well done! Except...

The controls in general work fine, left thumb moves the character- no problems there. The right thumb selects jump, electrify, and "let go" from the on screen buttons. Additionally, touching outside of the buttons with your right thumb lets you point the gun or levitate. So far so good, except they're often intermittent (or too easy to miss). I've gone through some levels 20 times, staring at the jump button when I hit it, only to have the game NOT jump, I die and I have to try again. Same goes with levitate/shoot. Frequently I found myself in a time critical situation where I need to levitate something, only to shoot it multiple times... and again, it causes me to die and start the section again. Which wouldn't be so bad except the sections are frequently hard, long, and time critical, and a single missed jump sends you back to the beginning of the section. Ouch. A handful of times, on the final puzzle, the game would crash to a black screen when I died, requiring a force close.

It's such an amazing game, but the actual play on the iPhone occasionally made it frustrating... fix the right thumb game controls, and it's 5 stars all the way. Otherwise, you'll need a lot of patience to get through it.

Nice puzzler

👍😎🎮😊

Great game.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Thoroughly enjoyed this game.
It is mentally stimulating. Can't wait for the continuation.

WASTE OF TIME AND $

Horrible controls 😠😡 Pathetic all around 🙄

Wonderful game

Just finished...last level took some patience - excellent game which I would definitely recommend - no issues with the controls

Bad level design

Really good game and concept, except I have lost patience with one part at a boss that is designed so poorly. So frustrating that I am deleting the game.

Unresponsive

Albert and Otto is a challenging artistic game. However, the challenging part quickly turns into frustration due to slow and unresponsive controls even on a new iPad. Good support from the developers but the control issue really detract from persevering on in this game.

Not worth it

Game continually crashes, game play is so so at best when it does work.

GOOD BUT...

After days of fun with this game it crashed, now I cant open it neither delete it. 1 Star be cause I cant give less.

Filled with anticipation!

Absolutely amazing game! Love the gameplay and the story was well, to be fair... Fantastic! I am unbelievably excited for the sequel! (So it better come out soon haha!) Well done guys!

Crashes while loading

I haven't even been able to play the game, it consistently crashes (iPad mini) while loading the game levels after the intro animation. Cannot recommend until this bug is fixed. Am very glad the creators added "skip" though, so that I don't have to wait through the introduction over and over in order to realize I still can't play the game. Why is it available to dl on this device when it's clearly not compatible??

Hi there! we have fixed the issues, hope you get a chance to try it again!

Great game

I love this game, however, I can't seem to beat the first boss. The robot's laser seems to move to fast for Albert to have time to evade it. I may just not be going about it the right way, but I still think the laser is moving a bit too fast.

Fun, but be ready to struggle

I have had fun playing this game (mostly), it is attractive, and they create a lot of sympathy for the main character(s). It took me reading about it to realize the time/setting, but that's not really important. The downside is that the pacing is off - for the most part, it is an unrelenting series of situations that require repeated (repeated) attempts and quite a lot of luck to pass through. The end result is that some sections are very frustrating and can get boring. Part of this problem is the controls, - the creators have fallen prey to the problems of the iPad paradigm: too many buttons, button placement off, accuracy not easily controlled, - that sort of thing. Also, despite what sounds like a lot of post-release work, there are still occasions where the controls don't work as intended. (The Fishy Fishy section being the prime example.) Still, there is an attractiveness to it that draws the player in, and overall I think it's worth the challenge.
