Needs Update

I appreciate the content. Very informative and engaging.

Please update the app. Cannot rotate to view on iPad (screen lock is not on).

Good content but glitchy

I really enjoy the world news and events but quite often there seems to be a technical problem.
Many times it opens up to yesterday’s Briefing. I have to close it and reopen it to get the current edition.
Now the app won’t even open. It briefly flashes on the screen then quickly closes itself.

Not working

I can’t get it to work my iPhone since it updated.

Maybe the app can go landscape on Ipad

Love listening to Dr. Mohler. The only thing that can be improved in the app is for it to go landscape when launched on Ipads or tablet devices.

A must for Christian perception of current events.

In today’s media nearly all sources bring false or completely agenda filled news and information. It can be very hard for a Christian to sift through and extrapolate the needed understanding on the issues of the day. With many opinions, (often times from those with lack of comprehensive biblical knowledge, morals, and ethics) it can be easy for Christians to form a misconstrued assessment and worldview analysis on such matters.
Dr. Mohler is an extremely profound intellectual, resolutely grounded in biblical theology and assimilation. It is a privilege to daily procure the opinions and biblical guidance of Dr. Mohler. As president of the Southern Babtist Theological Seminary, Dr. Mohler retains an extremely busy schedule, yet believes so much in the need for Christian understanding of the current events in the world he daily records his Briefing for all Christians that seek to understand “daily news and events from a Christian worldview”.I am indebted to Dr. Mohler for numerous reasons, and enthusiastically recommend this app for all Christians.

Don’t throw in towel for me, professor.

I am updating my positive earlier reviews with the caveat that those who turn here for news on what’s coming from the academy, where, sadly, the abominations rocking America come from, that these people not let Albert do their thinking FOR THEM.

The December 21 discussion of electors’ votes contains our staid and calm university head telling us that (paraphrase) ‘there can’t be many in the country who don’t know how this will turn out’ (Re: Biden being, as Mohler assures us) the “President Elext” - I beg to differ: with vast numbers of DEMOCRATS agreeing that this was not a fair election, courts unwilling to even hear facts, but only to use administrative dodges to REFUSE cases, I agree rather with almost anyone listening to the New Media that perhaps 80 million American voters DO NOT accept the “majority report” outcome...

Mohler frequently quotes the New York Times, but is never heard quoting “One America Network, “Epoch Times” or other HUNGRY and less BIASED media, who receive no Chinese funds or advertising. And speaking of competition in media, Epoch Times is founded by those who unlike Mohler have LIVED UNDER Chinese communism. I don’t intend to let Mohler or even my Senator Cornyn usher in murderous China by being polite. There will be no future American democracy if the Chinese and democrat cheating we see are not addressed now, whether our esteemed host likes the Jericho March or not, it does mot take a dream or vision to see the bloodless takeover more knowledgeable computer security persons foresee for America: China being an issue I never hear Albert speak on. Like Mitch McConnel and Pelosi, I wonder if perhaps Albert has Chinese investments... or merely has to “nix” anything that a Christian has said they’ve had a prophetic communication from God about - because of the strong anti-supernatural bias of Baptist authorities - I say this without malice as I was saved when Baptist youth spoke to me in Yosemite at age 21; and I’ve recently returned to a small Baptist congregation after trying out Lutheranism, (3 years) Assemvlies Of God (15 years) and Independent Bible Churches (15 years). All have had their strengths; and of prophetic visions can get moslems saved in the most dangerous Moslem countries with Mohler’s permission (if he even believes in these dreams) The Lord can surely warn his people that there is a titanic, world-shaking fight going on down to the wire- and Albert MAY NOT throw in the towel as he tried to do today, for “most of America” despite his worries the democrats will do Their usual questioning of elections, which they did most destructively for the last 4 years, regarding our legally elected leader.

crash for iPad Pro and iPad OS 14

Love this app so much, please fix it, thank you

The Briefing

Great source of daily news. As the title says it is not wordy. Keeps you up to speed on national & often international news all in a nutshell.

Uh oh, what happened

I have listened for years now and very much look forward to listening to daily analysis of news and events from a Christian/Biblical worldview. The app has made this so much easier however with this update the app won’t open. What happened?

Latested update

Was looking forward to this mornings podcast. I noticed there was an app update. Now I’m sorry that I did not listen to the podcast first. Open the app and it closes each time. :-(

Since the latest iPhone update

I usually love this app! I am always trying to play catch-up on The Briefing. Sometimes I have to go back a few weeks to listen to the ones I've missed. However, since the latest iPhone update, when I try to open the archives, there is NOTHING there. The only place that shows any information at all is the home page when the app first opens. I'm looking forward to this issue being fixed!

Unresponsive

Your “previous programs” link does not respond. This did not happen yesterday but it is totally hungup today. Neither WiFi nor Verizon makes a diff.

A True Man of God

I am thankful that there are men of God who truly declare Him and His purpose. Al Mohler’s thoughts and careful analysis of God’s word has really helped my wife and I in better understanding the bible and the Christian lifestyle. I would suggest this to all Christians - everywhere.

Great new app

Very sharp new app. To the tech team/developers - please check on what is required in the app for the audio controls to re-appear in vehicle “radio” information screens so we can resume controlling the play/pause of the audio selection using our vehicle touch screens instead of having to get into the phone and into the app. Thanks!

Amazing!!

I love the content. Layout is great. Praising God for Dr. Mohler.
The app still crashes for me when I return after a few minutes.
Would also be great if the sermons could be categorised by topics.
Otherwise really helpful.
Thank you.

Downgrade from previous version

I love the content, but the upgrade crashes, won’t download the podcast, and loses it’s place. I have moved to the web site to listen.

Love this app!

I listen every day and have always loved it, but the recent redesign of the app has some downsides:
1) Please bring back the 15 second forward and back option!
2) The app crashes a lot, especially if you have to pause and go out and come back into the app. It crashes, and then you can’t find where you left off.
3) I miss that I am no longer able to control from the lock screen once it starts playing.
I always marvel that Dr. Mohler is able to condense so much material and write news commentary every day. This is my favorite morning news source, and I miss it on the weekends (and in July!).

Much to be desired

I listen to Dr. Mohler every day when I have windshield time. I miss the rewind 15 sec button because I want to hear him say it again. This version seems to not have that ability.

GREAT information from Dr. Mohler on current events.

Good overall, has some audio issues

I like the content and layout of the app. It's nice to get older episodes of Thinking in Public, which aren't available on the Apple podcast app. I have had some issues with audio playback. If I pause, sometimes the app will crash when trying to play again. Also, the playback doesn't remember where you are, so I can only get back to the general area where I paused. I thank God for Dr. Mohler and his advancement of a thoughtful biblical worldview.

Terrible new logo - same great content

The logo looks like a woman’s bathing suit! What were you thinking? I much preferred the black-and-white image instead however it’s a small downside because the content is still so great! I just wanted to provide that small feedback otherwise I would’ve rated it five stars.
