So, you’re looking to try getting into Albion Online? Maybe a friend suggested it to you, or you saw one of their many ads? Well, I’ve got a review for you. I’ve participated in almost every type of content the game has to offer, and I’ll share my experiences with every one. Starting off with dungeons. If you’re hoping to enter a solo dungeon, and come out loads of silver richer, I’ve got news for you. It’s not going to happen, nor will you get any significant amount of fame from it either. Group Dungeons on the other hand, are quite good, the rewards aren’t always the greatest but sometimes you can get lucky with them. The main attraction for group dungeons is fame farming. They’re probably one of the fastest ways to farm fame without entering the black zone, and if you’ve got a guild or friends to run them with they can be worth doing. Corrupted Dungeons on the other hand are a great way to get some decent combat experience against other players, and have 3 difficulties. Hunter (Non-Lethal) Yellow Zone, Stalker (Lethal) Black Zone with an item power cap, and Slayer (Lethal) Black Zone with a reputation requirement and a higher item power requirement than it’s Stalker counterpart. All of which introduce you to PvP on a 1v1 basis with other variables, such as mobs, and ways to destroy someone if they’re not paying much attention such as little lava imps that drop pools of lava where they’re killed, and will easily make your opponent lose most of their health pool. All in all, a great way to get familiar with your set, and the fundamentals of solo pvp. Hellgates, which are pretty much corrupted dungeons but for groups, and The Depths which are Orange zone (Semi-Lethal) which makes you lose all of the items in your inventory but you keep your equipped gear, and focuses on 2v2 and 3v3 PvEvP. There’s Expeditions, which are basically solo dungeons that offer a 30k-50k silver Royal Sigil upon completing which you can sell for a good portion of your first capital to use on your first tier 4 set or invest into crafting, (more on crafting later). Hardcore Expeditions, are group oriented, and I’m unsure of the rewards, but hear good things about them. Faction Warfare, which introduces you to your first look at ZvZ content, and can get you familiar with the fundamentals of Zerg PvP and introduces you into basically what you’ll be doing as a solo in the black zone, which is clearing mob camps, and migrating to the next zone to clear more camps, and last but not least, Ancient Lands. Ancient lands is a mode in which Solo Players, Small Groups, And Groups of up to 20 can zone into via a randomly generated portal in almost any zone via royal continent or Outlands (The Black Zone) and can be either Orange Zone if you enter from a blue or yellow zone, and Black Zone if you enter from a red or black zone. Basically the objective is the clear sections of a map and their mini bosses until you reach the middle of the map and fight the last dragon boss for some great rewards. This content is great for anybody to get some decent rewards, and also experience doing PvP. I haven’t played much of it, but I can understand why many people would enjoy this content over most of the others. Finally, the aspect of this game that I have given many many hours into and is my favourite of all, Economy. Refining, Crafting, and playing the market. This is honestly the best way out of all of the other facets of the game to make so much silver you basically won’t have to pay for premium with real money again, ever. I’ve been playing this game since February of 2026 and am already a multi billionaire on the Americas Server, and half way to a billion on the Europe server. If you’re really wanting to make loads of silver, learning how to refine, craft, and play both the regular market in every royal city, and also the black market in Caerleon will set you up for life and you will never have to pay a cent on anything except for vanity again.
