About
For many music lovers, listening to music means listening to entire albums. Listening to an album is different from listening to individual songs. Instead of playing random songs, you follow an order carefully curated by the artist. While you can save entire albums to your Spotify library, unlike playlists, you cannot organize your record collection with folders or tags. As a result, you can quickly end up with an endless list of saved albums.
Album Stacks is here to help you organize albums into separate stacks, just like you used to do with your vinyl records. Use the share feature in your Spotify app or the Spotify web player to add an album with some comments to the Album Stacks app. In Album Stacks, you can create and name stacks for different genres, moods, next week's dinner party, or newly discovered records you want to listen to later. Swipe through your stacks to select an album from your collection and press play to open and play it in your Spotify app.
Album Stacks does not store or play music. Your ability to play an album depends on your streaming service's subscription plan. Album Stacks is a non-commercial, personal side project. It is in no way affiliated with Spotify.
