About

AlbumTodoList helps you keep up with new music without losing track of what you still want to hear. DISCOVER RELEASES Browse recently released and upcoming albums, pulled from albumoftheyear.org and matched against the Apple Music catalog. Separate tabs keep recent and upcoming releases apart. BUILD YOUR LISTENING QUEUE Add any album straight to a dedicated "AlbumTodoList" playlist in Apple Music with one tap, and manage that queue from the Todo tab — see what's still waiting, open it in Apple Music, or remove it once you've listened. TRACK WHAT'S COMING Anticipating an album that isn't out yet? Add it to a separate Upcoming Todo queue. Once its release date arrives, move it into your main Todo queue with one tap. MARK ALBUMS AS SEEN Tap to mark an album "seen" once you've listened to it — or just noted it. Albums you add to a playlist are marked automatically, so they stay out of your way. Your seen status syncs across every device signed into the same iCloud account. FILTER THE LIST Hide albums you've already marked "seen," hide ones already in your library, or set a "released after" date to focus on what's new. Requires an Apple Music subscription to add albums to playlists or your library. Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. On Mac, you can also add an album's tracks to any of your existing Apple Music playlists, and delete albums from your library.

What's New in AlbumTodoList

1.1.4

October 1, 2026

Albums in Upcoming Todo now move to Todo only once every track can actually be played. Some albums reach their release date while most tracks are still greyed out in Apple Music; those now wait in Upcoming Todo, showing how many tracks are available so far (e.g. "6 of 34 tracks available"), and move automatically once the rest are out.
