High Resolution and good color
The ABQ Journal print edition is clear, high resolution and easy to read. I love it.
Awful App
The publisher should find out who designed the app for the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. They have been flawless. Can’t say that about this paper’s app ever.

Ever since the new print edition was produced, I have an unable to read the Albuquerque journal on my iPad
Great improvement
Works a lot better than the former platform which was super glitchy at times.
A refreshing change
The new Print Edition is everything I had hoped for over the journal+ app. No ads in my face and remembering where I was in reading the newspaper when I re-open the app. A huge improvement overall. Thank you to the developers!
Addendum 2/18/2026: When I try to print the daily crossword for my spouse, it comes out blurry every time. Used to print sharply in the prior Journal app. Am I missing something here?

Biggest problem is the slow JournalPrint Edition Update in sync WITH THE NEW VERSION UPDATES (mine being Version 26.?) — still self-teaching!
New Jrnl App
The lead up to this app was a rough go. Almost to the point of unsubscribing! But now that the Print Edition is up and running, everything seems to have come together! News as always from Abq Jrnl is well balanced,
Good to have a print edition-only app
The all-in-one app wasn’t working well for the print edition. This one works much better.

Thank goodness
Just tried it today for the first time. So far, it’s light years beyond that abomination they called jrnl+. No more endlessly adjusting my iPad screen.
News Memory
The ap is not consistent and downloading the printable digital version doesn’t is good one day and want the user to sign in the next day. Very frustrating.
Works Like the Old App
This lets you read a replica of the print edition, and it works just like the old version of the Journal app did before they “improved” it. This is how I read the Journal now.
