Crashes on launch
This app stopped working on my iPad like a year ago. Still equally broken.
Worthless
App hasn’t worked in the better part of a year. I receive notifications, but the app will not open. Unbelievable that it has taken this long and still no fix. What is wrong with you developers?
Crashes and will not open.
This used to work, have about 16 issues of Alert Diver now trapped in my iPad that I can not open.

Immediate crash .....
Just updated as I could not download the latest issue. App said there was an xml error. Now the app crashes immediately.
Broken App
The latest update does not open at all. It crashes immediately (running the latest version of iOS, 10.3.3). Seems like a significant miss during testing.

I always enjoy being able to read/ review Alert Diver on my iPad. But it seems like the app is not working again. You can launch the app :(
Log in fail
About to take my Open Water Cert. Signed up with DAN for the insurance earlier this week and was looking forward to reading their magazine. Like so many others, log in fail. Since I've never read the mag, I guess I won't miss anything. Now I'm dreading anything happening as I'm afraid of what the service will be like if I have to file a claim at any point in the future.

Can't sign in
I sat here with my DAN card in hand and my account open on my PC to verify that I gave the correct data, tried upper, lower, and mixed case on my name, and couldn't get access. I give up and will stick to hard copy. Very disappointing.
Crashes
12/7 just updated. Tried to launch and it just crashes. Guys roll it back a lot, at least the older version I was able to read this Version wont even open one page
Promising concept but Horribly buggy
Review edit: After deleting all copies of the app and re-installing, I was able to get the app to work and download my Alert Diver magazines.
The app still crashes a few times a week, but having access to the magazines anytime is pretty nice.
Would STRONGLY PREFER the option to receive my magazine in a PDF format, that I can view anywhere, anytime, on any device.
Yes, I would lose the embedded videos and photo galleries (which usually crash), but the PDF could link to those.
Upgraded rating to 3 stars. Still a lot of crashes. I have faith in you DAN! :)

iPad crashes/iPhone works
1 star because I've followed all troubleshooting steps, restarted, deleted & restarted app numerous times. Works on iPhone but always crashes on iPad, now stuck in "preparing to Download" "Please Wait" loop for newest issue (I deleted all other issues that were just stuck). iPad is what I want to read this on why can't an app that works be developed? Again I followed ALL troubleshooting steps several times. What a waste of time!

Note that sign-on for DAN members in My Editions is your e-mail on file with DAN as your user name. Password is your last name, case sensitive, with first letter only in caps
Easy to navigate. Additional content as compared to print version. Easier to carry along on dive trips. I love it!
Problems with log-in now fixed. Issue was number of devices used to be only 3 and easy to exceed. Now allowable number much higher!

Great magazine but latest update crashes immediately on 3rd gen iPad with iOS 6.
Still no proper credentialing
Copied and pasted what the forgot password email contained and it still won't allow me to properly download subscriptions. Still useless. And they took the time to fix a display issue? Wow...DAN needs to find a new developer. Their brand is the one getting pulled through the mud.

Not sure why it stopped accepting login credentials, but as others have done, verified credentials with service provider to no avail. Update and I may update review.
Update 5-Sep-12 - it'd have been nice if instead of "removing reflections" with the update if they'd have fixed the login issue. One would have thought the consistent complaints would've gotten their attention... DAN is so much better than this in other phases of their business.
