If phone is on desk or pocket I don’t know there’s an alert
I get no audible notifications. I'll look at my phone and realize I got an alert an hour or two ago as a push notification, but with no sound I never notice them in a timely manner. Cannot locate any settings to ensure that I receive an alert.
Push Notifications Don’t Work
Currently utilizing an IPhone and the push notifications do not send if the device is locked. All settings are properly configured to allow notifications and based on other reviews this has been a problem for years. Not very helpful in an emergency.
Useless
The app doesn’t sync with email and doesn’t actually alert. Even with notifications turned on and an email listed, I have to go to the app to see if there’s an alert, which defeats its whole purpose. Once I go to the app, it suddenly populates all the alerts. I also can’t clear the former notifications once I go to the app. It’s really not a useful app.

Easy to Use
Ease of use is paramount in an emergency.

The alerts notification stay after acknowledged and achieved
Even days after an alert when I have it achieved, I see the alert notification. The app says that there are no alerts at that time.
This is foolishness.
I have to have this app for my employer and that on my personal phone. This is very annoying.

Confusing app
The tabs don’t work the best and it says that a lot of different alerts aren’t working. It also looks like a scam trying to get my information.
Push Notifications Not Working
My push notifications are turned on, but they are not making any sounds on the app when it is should. This happened when I upgraded to an iPhone 13ProMax. I tried to delete and reinstall the app but this did not help. I have a second iPhone that I tried to upgrade and the same problem occurred. This app is not doing a good job alerting me if it does not trigger a sound.

Works well - always evolving
Works very well with mobile push messaging - seems to have features being added often which is a nice touch.
Incident reporting functionality is powerful and users can take safety back in their hands!

Message alert
When it comes up on my Iphone7 I can only see part of the message. When I go into to see the message there is never a message available to see,
Alert stuck
I can’t erase an alert. It is 6 months old. It will not archive. Can anyone help?
Can never see full alert
Using an IPhone 6S, when I am notified of an alert I start the Alertus app, nothing is shown. When I go into the notifications tab, there are no notifications. Pretty useless in an emergency, don’t you think?

I have clicked to get verification email many times and never receive

App not ready for use
If your phone is low on space, then IOS will clear the app cache for Alertus +. This disassociates your phone from the institution/campus and you will not receive any notification in the event of a real emergency. This disassociation comes without warning. Of course, you can always re associate, but once you find out you were disassociated, it might be too late. This is dangerous!
