Great Discreet Spy app
I have used alferd in the past it allows you to discreetly turn a basic tablet or old phone into a secret security/spu device to people that normally don’t think that a old or basic tablet could be watching them to see wants going on it records audio and video I used it to see what my partner was doing when I wasn’t around it did the job I needed it to do and got the information I suspected verified i highly recommend using this product

My camera stopped working. It says I need a firmware update. It won’t let me connect to the Internet for the firmware update. It says it can’t connect to the Internet because it needs a firmware update in order to do so but I can’t download the firmware update without the Internet connection. The most stupid thing I’ve experienced. I am canceling my subscription.

Paid for Subscription, lost access to my cameras
I purchased a subscription to monitor my pets while I’m away, but after the purchase I was suddenly logged out of my account. Now I cannot access my camera feeds, and the app does not even show my active subscription. This is extremely frustrating and concerning because I rely on AlfredCamera to check on my pets’ safety. I paid for a service that I currently cannot use. Please resolve this issue urgently and improve customer support for situations like this.
Update: I was able to regain access to my account before the support team contacted me. The issue was most likely caused by using a different Gmail account for my phone/payment and my AlfredCamera account. Thank you to the support team for their attention and willingness to help.

I like this app so much , it alerts me when movement is detected and it allows me to talk to communicate when I’m not around. One thing I don’t like is all of the subscriptions.
Insecure app
Tried the app and it’s not secure. The monitoring device cannot be screen locked. If a hotel worker were to pick up your device while it was monitoring your room they would have full access to your phone, any accounts, apps, iCloud, etc. The screen also stays on and says that it is recording. Cancelled my subscription 10 minutes after installing the app. 👎🏻

Absolutely wonderful app.
The app is amazing. If you have an older phone sitting around it immediately turns into a free security camera. In my case this was the perfect solution as opposed to buying one online. The fact that you can filter out what you’d like to detect is wonderful. I personally subscribed for a year and it’s very affordable, definitely cheaper than an actual security camera. The setup is quick and easy too This was a much needed immediate solution to my current problems in the home.

This service is AMAZING !
I use an old phone connected to my WiFi, and I can see everything on my current phone wherever I am. They will want you to get a camera from them , but just use your own old phone! Super dope

This new update sucks
Soon as I buy a subscription, the new update comes out and this app now sucks
No longer useful
This app was phenomenal about 5 years ago. It’s become increasingly unusable at each app update, the mismanagement and terrible leadership have removed every useful feature and replaced it with the cheapest of advertising videos. Looking out the window yourself is more useful than this app. I use to recommend it, but rescind that now. Good luck trying to use it for anything at all.

Dont waste your time
I was using Presense but it got deprecated. Very straightfoward, Presese detected motion, recorded, sent to cloud, done. This afred thing detects motion, sends a notification and doesnt record anything. If my ipad gets stolen (i use the ipad as a camera) I wouldve lost my stuff, my ipad and the $7 dollars Im paying to these guys.
There should be no instructions on how to operate this. I dont know what you guys are doing to get such great reviews but I guess shame on me thinking the app store is a legitimate marketplace

camera bricked after failed firmware update no refund or return offered
Amelia refuses to return a camera that is no longer functioning at all. It is a complete brick. It was brick during the firmware update even though the camera right next to it receive the update just fine. There is no phone number for customer support. They will not return the camera. I put in two customer support request no responsibility. I am out $30. This has been installed for about two weeks no return has been offered no response from the developer no response from customer support you people are lazy. It is pointless to try to do business with you. You have provided garbage service and garbage hardware. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Solo funciona si los dos dispositivos estan conectados a la misma red, cuando salgo de casa no puedo ver nada, y la idea de dejar la camara es poder vigilar a mis mascotas cuando estoy fuera, cosa que no he podido hacer porque apenas salgo del apartamento se desconecta. Pagué el primer mes pero no volveré a pagarlo, horrible experiencia.

App worked in 2018. App didn’t work in 2022 — Alfred took my money and I didn’t have a security service. : (
DO NOT GET THIS APP
I got this app in 2021 and paid the $99 for a year. I place was broken into and all the person had to do was get the phone and factory reset it Alfred does not store anything, none of your footage is saved and they refuse to help me.!!
