Freezes
End turn one the thing freezes. Used to work. Don’t buy.
Please fix….this game was amazing!!!
Unplayable as it freezes when it’s the aliens turn. I loved this game. Reminded me of the old X-com I grew up watching my dad play on the computer in the 90’s. You guys did great on it…please update it!!!
Doesn’t work
The game looks cool but it does not work, thus don’t waste your time trying to play as it freeze as soon as you end your turn… impossibile to play the game. Such a pity…
Close to the original Xcom
I have played everything xcom over the years and this is very close to the original. It had a good story, the tactical part is very good and the range of aliens is very interesting. It has easily burned away hours on the train! Of course more can be added, but given the resources of the developers I'm very impressed! Also no tricks to get your money, I hope for more content!

I want to enjoy it
It has the foundation needed to be a great mobile Xcom. Anytime I try to play onslaught as soon as I end my turn it just crashes. Not sure if there is any active support anymore but please fix this.

Too many bugs to function as a paid app. Hope I can get a refund on it.
Crashes constantly
Decided to risk the purchase despite all the reviews that said it crashed constantly. Now I’m here to warn you that yes it really does crash at then end of each mission and often before you even get that far. Buy it if you want but unless there’s been a recent update to fix things it’s unplayable. App version 2.7 iOS 16.6

Crashes on Iphone 12
It keeps crashing on my IPhone 12. Can’t even play it as when it turns to alien movement it crashes. And that’s on the first move.

Game freezes? Any fix ideas?
Game looks awesome, but I cannot play for some reason. Whenever trying to end my turn for the alien’s move the game will freeze when selecting end turn. Will not load a saved game in a mission either. Will only save and open in Geoscape. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no fix. Tried to connect from the app support option and wrote a help request, but you cannot submit from there. I’m super excited to play this, but cannot and I paid for this. Please help.

Crashes at end of every turn
Promising, but crashed for me at the end of every turn.
Decent
The game locks up when starting the Training Missions. The tutorial and Onslaught mode work fine. Onslaught is a decent version of X-Com.
needs critical fixes
i am not happy with the score. the game is very promising. original ufo defence on mobile with minimalist UI.
problem is the game doesn't work. not on modern iOS. crashes happen at critical points, making progress impossible, such as end turn or loading an original campaign mission.
i hope they fix it. and if they do i will 5-star it, since it catches classic x-com on mobile perfectly. but as of now, unplayable

Good game but has more bugs than the original?
If you tell a soldier to save some time units before moving them occasionally they will go over by one or two and can’t make the shot or an enemy will be able to shoot you from where you’re standing but you don’t have a line of fire to them if you do a mission any longer than 20 or so minutes you will encounter one of these annoying bugs but still nostalgic from xcom ufo defence because it seems to be almost the same game with a lot less features like soldier inventory and 50p more expensive just get the original on pc if you want to play properly

No Smoke grenades ?!
Without the smoke grenades of Xcom1, the whole mini game of disembarking the troop transporter is no fun.
I can’t even be bothered playing deeper, but give 3 stars because largely looks a good clone.
Also interface too finicky to move them 1 square. I don’t have the time for this cr@p. Limited interest, nearly unplayable (iPad mini).

I love this game. If you liked the original XCOM you’ll love this one too. Its brutal, like the original, but we love it for it.
Is there any way to get a kickstart or something going for you guys to add in tanks like the original game had? I found them invaluable in my strategy and really miss them, lol. (When exploration is a near death sentence ... send in the tank! When “exploring” a seriously dangerous looking building ... send in the tank with rockets! Lots of rockets! Lol...
And you guys keep updating it, you guys rock.
Playing this on my iPad Pro 10.5 as easily as it played on my iPhone 4 and original iPad 4. Cool beans.
