I have been reading this magazine for years and I love it. I’m loving my digital and paper magazine subscription.

Love the magazine not the app
I absolutely love all about history magazine but I can not say the sam about the app.
It never updates with the new issue. I have to delete the app and then redownload just so u can but the latest issue.

This app Simply doesn’t work . Paid my money and have been totally scammed . Taken my money and the app won’t load .

Horrible app, wonderful content
Terrific content. BUT the app is glacial slow and constantly freezes. Not worth the frustration and that’s too bad.
Everytime i open it today my screen gets covered by some Black Friday ad. The ad is the only reliable presence here.

All about history
I am Asian, learn lots of world history from this magazine. It,s easy to read with fantastic drawing, give the idea of imagination of what did kings, monarch, people of that age.
I love it, looking forward to collection that contain the same topics more and more.

This app does not work can’t paid a subscription and can’t read anything. Waste of time !
Beware lost purchases
This app updated in March 2017 and refused to download some of the magazines I had previously purchased no matter how many times I tried their instructions. Email to developer only responded to by auto response. Called to UK to talk to them and the developer offered zero help. Buyer beware.
Hate the new update
The new update has deleted all my downloaded issues. So at <100Mb of data an issue I have to re-download all of them, which isn't very good if you have no wifi or have a monthly broadband download limit. The 'see all issues available' page has been messed up so that 3/4's of the page is now an advert for some other crappy magazine I'm not interested in, and the available issues are tiny..... The magazine content itself is ok, but the app that delivers that content is very poor....

Excellent Mag
Only one complaint, I have all my magazines downloaded onto my iPad. Following your recent update all my mags were deleted and I now have to download them again. This is no problem when I am at home, but I do a lot of travelling mostly without access to fast wifi. I am currently away and cannot read or download any of my mags. Annoying to say the least. But overall an excellent magazine. Ps. The front end you have now changed to is very poor, the old system was much better where I could actually see/read the front cover.

The latest app is a shocker. Cannot restore purchases and have sent to support & not heard back so don't download.
Mostly happy
I love history and love reading these magazines. With that being said, I hate the extra "special issues". I would prefer to pay a bit extra for the yearly subscription. As in other reviews, I do feel nickel and dimed and feel cheated. I am on a fixed income and it is not much so I cannot afford to purchase the extra, that's where the "cheated" come from.

Disappointed
The magazine is okay. I like the visuals and I think they do a nice job with the short history provided on their topics. I like more in depth analysis, but this is my personal preference. However, I really dislike how they have all these "special issues" that cost extra money. I would rather pay one price and get all issues than to feel like I am being "nickeled and dimed" on a magazine for which I have an annual subscription. For these reasons I decided not to renew my subscription and am looking into other history magazines.

Fantastic Magazine Content
We always look forward to All About History. The whole family loves the magazine. And for me with this magazine the Landscape mode works best for the very many two page historical photographs, and the portrait mode works best for reading text.
