About
Spin a 3D globe, tap a glowing pin, and see what actually lives there.
All the Animals is a wildlife reference organised by place rather than by alphabet. Most guides are arranged taxonomically, which works well if you already know what you are looking for. This one starts from the question people actually ask - what lives here? - because habitat explains most of what an animal is. A polar bear's fur, a fennec fox's ears and a camel's kidneys are all answers to the same problem posed by very different places.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- An interactive 3D globe you can spin, zoom and explore

HOW IT WORKS
Pick a region and you get its climate, its landscape, and everything recorded living there. Tap any animal for its photograph, its stats and a written profile: where it lives, how it feeds and breeds, what marks it out, and how it is faring.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND DATA
Species records and photographs come from iNaturalist contributors under Creative Commons licences. Every photograph credits its photographer and links to both the licence and the original observation. Conservation statuses follow the IUCN Red List. The written profiles are original to this app.
FREE, WITH ADS
All the Animals is free, supported by a single banner advertisement at the bottom of the screen. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no accounts to create. We run no analytics of our own and store nothing about you on our servers, because there are none.
