One of the best EV charging apps I’ve used. The charging experience has been consistently reliable, and chargers are available most of the time, which makes long journeys much less stressful. The app is very easy to use, with a clean interface and a simple payment process that works without any hassle.
I also like how straightforward it is to start and stop a charging session, and the charging speeds have been excellent whenever I’ve used Allego. Overall, it’s a dependable app that does exactly what it should. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable public EV charging network.

Awful
Found some chargers I fancied using on the Allego network so downloaded the app. Signed up and a week later the app is still stuck at stage 4/5 whilst trying to sign up. I used the contact us link in the welcome email I was sent and this is actually directing to a norrpky email address so found the social media team email address on FB and emailed them and nearly a week later no reply. Don’t bother with this company. They don’t want / need customers it seems !

Trotz Allego plus zu teuer
60ct/kwh AC trotz Allego plus, das ist viel zu teuer an einer eigenen Ladesäule. Da sind einige roaming Anbieter einiges günstiger.

Es tut mir wirklich leid das zu sagen, aber die UX dieser App ist wirklich schlecht.
Der Consent für Tracking ist vorausgewählt - das ist nicht in Ordnung.
Es gibt keinen Schnellfilter für Allego-Only-Stations, stattdessen muss man in ein Untermenü, dort alle anderen abwählen, per Suchfeld „Allego“ suchen und dann auswählen. EnBW so: hier ist ein Toggle Switch, damit du es einfach hast. DAS ist gute UX!
Allego hat den Schnellfilter-Button, der ist aber schlecht platziert unten links und verdeckt im Übrigen das Apple Maps Logo.
Der Login passiert nicht nativ, sondern über ein Pop-Out. Bruch mit der App-UX - nicht gut.

1. Kreditkarte als Zahlungsmethode hinzufügen nicht möglich.
2. Mit dieser App kostet das Laden an Allego-Stationen mehr, als wenn man Ewe Go benutzt.
3. Knapp 40€ Strafgebühr wegen Parkverstoß, obwohl laut Beschilderung und Angaben in der App rund um die Uhr benutzbar.

Ja, auch hier war die Ankündigung sehr positiv aber leider bei Ansicht von günstigen Lade Möglichkeiten hohen überhöhte Preise festgestellt. So zum Beispiel Ladesäulen von EWE Go oder auch Lademöglichkeiten bei Jet Tankstellen keine korrekten Preise. Außerdem werden nicht alle Lade Möglichkeiten mit Preisen angegeben, zum Beispiel Ladesäulen bei Lidl. Hatte mir da mehr vorgestellt und gewünscht. Die Ladewüste Deutschland bleibt also. Schade!

Preistransparenz nicht gegeben
Hatte beim Supermarkt an einer Ladesäule von LichtBlick getankt ( max. 50kWH). Erstmalig habe ich je kWH mehr als 1 Euro bezahlt! Hsbe das kostenlose Abo sofort gekündigt. Dabei angegeben, dass das Abo noch bis zum Ende der Laufzeit (1 Monat) nutzbar ist. Ist es aber nicht. Wurde sofort deaktiviert und auch so bestätigt. Auf die Rechnung habe ich daher keinen Zugriff mehr.

Les informations concernant le niveau de batterie du véhicule ne se mettent pas à jour.
J’ai supprimé mon compte pour retourner sur mon application MG mais c’est impossible car mes identifiants MG restent connectés dans Allego. Formidable !

Half-baked
I was asked to install this new app as the old Smoov app is going away, but the experience was so far disappointing. The whole app isn’t a native Apple one, which in practice means that everything works a bit worse and there is no real integration with iOS. I already encountered a couple of bugs after only 5 minutes on the app. Strangely, subscription payments are now in euros although I am based in the UK. More importantly, there is no Favourite list of chargers anymore, to quickly check their availability. :(

Absolut unbrauchbar, Allego nicht empfehlenswert
Gelockt von einem zehn Euro Gutschein habe ich mit Allego geladen. Der geladene Betrag wurde jedoch nicht von meinem Guthaben bei Allego abgebucht, sondern stattdessen meiner Kreditkarte belastet. Nach einer Beschwerde E-Mail erhielt ich als Antwort, dass der Gutschein noch nicht richtig gebucht sei und ich in den nächsten 30 Tagen Bescheid kriege und ihn dann nutzen könnte. Zwei Monate später habe ich erneut geladen. Gleiches Problem. Wieder eine Beschwerde E-Mail an, diese bleibt nun schon seit über einem Monat unbeantwortet. Ich kann jedem nur dringend von Allego abraten.

Impossible de se connecter, on reçoit le mail au bout de 3h, du coup lorsqu’on insert le numéro de sécurité il n’est plus valide, cinquante tentative vaine…

Les pires bornes de recharge que j’ai pu tester. L’une d’entre elles est présente au cinéma que je fréquente. J’ai donc chargé mon véhicule le temps du film, et Allego me facture 35 € de stationnement, car ma recharge n’a duré qu’une heure alors que mon véhicule est resté 2 h 40, le temps du film. Ils facturent le stationnement sur un parking de cinéma à la base totalement gratuit, c’est honteux. Je n’utiliserai plus jamais leurs bornes.

Schlechte Verbindung
Ich habe es in den Niederlanden zum dritten Mal versucht zu buchen, kein Erfolg er sende die Karte zur Bank und nichts kommt am Handy an, weder in Deutschland noch in Holland, ob WLAN oder 5G kein Erfolg
