AllerScout is a free allergy information manager and food-label assistance tool. It has no ads, no in-app purchases, and requires no in-app account. Keep important allergy information organized, accessible, and easier to share. KEY FEATURES • Allergy Profiles Record allergens to watch, confirmation status, information sources, clinician-provided plans, and emergency contacts. • Food Label Scanning Capture or select an ingredient label, or enter the text manually. AllerScout recognizes text on the device, checks it against the selected regional food-label rules, highlights potentially relevant ingredients, and explains why they were flagged. • Reaction Records Create a clear timeline of suspected exposures, symptoms, actions taken, and additional notes for future reference or communication. • Safety Cards Organize ingredients to avoid, common symptoms, emergency contacts, and clinician-provided plans. Export a safety card as an image or PDF when you need to share it. • Medication Management Record medication names, expiry dates, and storage locations. Optional local reminders can help you check upcoming expiry dates. AllerScout does not provide medication or dosage recommendations. • Regional Rules and Bilingual Support Use the app in Simplified Chinese or English and select regional food-label rules when reviewing packaging from different markets. PRIVACY FIRST Food-label text recognition and risk matching take place on the device. Data can remain on your device, or you can choose to sync it between your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account.
