Started using the app again and it’s a major improvement from what it used to be. Easy to use and very helpful.
Clunky
This app is clunky and not intuitive AT ALL. It's so difficult to control anything, manage different groups and scenes, and takes so much time just to get anything set. The only reason why I keep it is because it's the only app that controls my lights
Could be useful, but…
But, it doesn’t work. I’ve watched their videos, all instructions, etc. First try, it wouldn’t connect to my network or a cell phone Bluetooth. Deleted and downloaded again, connected to both cell phone and Wi-Fi. Lights are on, I can’t turn them off, can’t adjust colors or brightness. If they could make them work with Alexa, the system might be useful. As it is, it’s just… on….

After 8 years of installing and mastering this exact Bluetooth lighting system, I’m finally leaving my review for the app's reputation: The negative feedback is clueless installer error, not app failure.
This is NOT a plug-and-play installation, and if your system is performing poorly, it’s because the proper steps were skipped.
The required process for five-star performance:
1. BT, Not WiFi: It's a Bluetooth system, meaning you MUST be outside near the controller for programming.
2. Meticulous Setup: We spend the time at night creating groups and labeling every single fixture accurately on the app. Seeing the light is the only way to program it right?
3. Training is KEY: If the installer doesn't walk the homeowner through the app controls and features, the system is doomed to a bad review.
When a professional delivers the install correctly, this app is phenomenal. You gain total creative control and can literally do anything with your lights. It's not the app that's clueless, it’s your installer! Hire the expert, get the magic you want!

It’s 2025
Getting close to landing on Mars and yet this company can’t engineer a functioning APP that changes light colors. Having my contractor take out 10 BT fixtures as it’s become way too complicated to work. System doesn’t recognize devices, one fixture is permanently set on pink, the pre installed red, white, and blue theme is actually red, white, and green, dusk to midnight is selected yet fixtures go on at a random time and stay on all night, etc.

How about updating your app you could do so much more with this with preloaded colors and scenes yet you continue to keep this old piece of garbage going when you got these jellyfish lights and all this competitors out there. Update your app.
This needs serious rework
This app is klunky and not entirely intuitive. As a previous review said, choosing the correct light to change is like playing roulette. The fixtures all constantly rotate. Also, they should have an RGB number you can enter so you can match the color exactly on different fixtures instead of just relying on the color wheel. Also you should be able to individually change each light in a group. I have a group of four called Rocks. But the group only allows me to change them all. Selecting each of these individually from the group would be so much easier than having to play device roulette. The lights are gorgeous but I hope some work is put into this app. I’d be happy to assist and QC it for them as I’ve done on other apps.

I have your lighting system and enjoy it very much, but please update your app. Spend some money get somebody in there. That knows how to design this thing and update this app put us more control more predetermined, and Holiday scenes and better functionality. Please.

App is horrible. Interface is bad and cannot add devices. Can only add 6 to a group.
It never connects!!!
Horrible app as it never connects and when it does finally, the lights go away!!! I have had one light stuck on rotation colors for almost a year!
Really bad app
The light hardware is great but the app is pretty much useless. Confusing and senseless. Wish I had hooked up the lights and tried out the app before permanent install, would've changed direction immediately. Live and learn!
App is atrocious
Beautiful lighting concept but app is primitive and full of bugs. Extremely difficult to name and program light fixtures due to the app’s contestant carousel-like effect of spinning through all available lights—if you have many lights, you can only name them through a roulette style tap, hoping you land on a fixture that hasn’t been named or grouped. Some lights that eventually become available then do not let you program them.
The more lights you have, the worse the effect. Still cannot name or program all the lights on backyard project despite extensive experience on our front yard landscape. Troubleshooting offerings don’t seem to address this issue.

Horrible App.
This app only worked for me 5 times in the last 2 years!
App does not respond
The app sees my devices the it doesn’t! I’m standing within 10 feet of all devices and I can see them. Spent almost an hour trying to change colors on 4 devices. The problem is worse during the winter when I’m trying to change the color pattern to holiday colors. I eventually got them to work but the program is so poor I am looking at other devices that work and are less expensive. I will not and have not recommended these to the many folks who have seen them at my house. I really thought these would be easy to use but the amount of time and rebooting the program is unacceptable. Nice product but lousy operating system and to costly.

Do not buy this product
Do not let a contractor talk you into buying this product. The interface is not intuitive and too complicated. I’ve got a light stuck on a color cycle and I cannot reconnect to fix it. So out of a set of lights I’ve got one cycling between purple and orange and cannot reconnect to fix. Impossibly bad experience instantly regret being talked into these lights.

Is really useless !!! Nothing works right

Hard to get right
I have 32 fixtures between the front and back yards. It is very difficult to get all 32 fixtures to show on the app. I still don’t have them all showing.
Tedious at best, latest update has serious flaws
I’ve gone through all of the tedious set-up, naming, grouping, etc (which has to be done all over on every different control device). I’ve dealt with the imperfect, unresponsive interface. But the latest update has really made this more than cumbersome ! I am on iPhone 13ProMax, and when I chose a color, I cannot get back to the previous screen! I have to quit and relaunch the app to chose a color for a different group!

Highly Disappointed!!!
I’m having trouble connecting my lights to this app. I’ve watched all the videos, read all the instructions and I’m still not able to get this app going. Save yourself the headache (and the money) find another outdoor light company.
